I wanted to love FF7 Remake but it’s just changed too much for me to enjoy. Luckily I have like four copies of the original - Vita, PSOne, PC (the original Eidos 97 release), and Xbox.

Not likely day one, probably 1 year at the least. I see it 1 year PC, 2 years Xbox as the likely scenario, if they don’t communicate anything new, that is.

This is funny because we’re on opposite sides of the spectrum. I love Remake/Rebirth and hated the original FF 7. Played that shit for like 30 minutes if that, ran up those train station stairs, got into around 5 random battles and said, fuck this shit. Turned off the PS, took out the game disc, put it in the case and handed it right back to my friend who was there letting me borrow it and wanted to see me play it as he would to this very day go on and on about the damn game. And I always say to him, same was trash which is why they remade it so it could be better. Heheh. lol

I dig the battle system in the new FF, for the most part that’s not my problem. It’s all the narrative changes and pacing issues.

Seems the question of “who wants a LEGO Horizon game anyway, isn’t one too young for people who’ve played Horizon, and the other too high an age rating for LEGO’s peak market?” may have an answer - not that many.
While we can’t know how it’s doing on Switch or PS5, Push Square have noticed it’s not even hitting Concord numbers on Steam.
Although to be fair less than stellar reviews haven’t helped…

Begs the question: how popular is the franchise. I get the first one did strong, but we don’t hear much on second. Then they keep on pushing like they got a new Mario.

I loved Horizon Zero Dawn and to a slightly lesser extent Forbidden West but never wanted a Lego Horizon game as it makes no sense. If anything, there should have been a Lego Astro Bot game instead.
I am looking forward to the third game in the series and the MMORPG as I really want to see what this looks like and what the gameplay loop will be.

AC Syndicate on Pro can’t maintain 60 yet Series X was only few frames below though sometimes the same as Normal PS5 goes lower.

Doesn’t appear to be in the Top 100 gameplay chart over on TrueTrophies. Not even listed as one of the top “rising games.”
While that particular chart probably isn’t 100% accurate, a complete no-show is pretty brutal.

The story doesn’t conclude with Forbidden West and Guerrilla is thankfully done with Killzone and why would Guerrilla go backwards to a franchise that did less in four games than what Horizon did with one? Once they wrap up Horizon, they’ll go to a new IP as they should.
The MMORPG is from NC Soft. I just want to see what it looks like and how it plays.
