Bit of a dillema for me.
I still don’t have a PS5, and I feel it would be foolish to get one with a Pro so close. But there’s also no way I’m going to spend 700 euros on a console. Besides I have a big backlog on Xbox, it’s not that I exactly need it.
Only a few PS5 exclusives I missed out on, but those won’t be going away or anything. Maybe I’ll get one once I start seeing the real big differences in videos. I prefer to stick to my XSX for multiplats but…well, who knows.

I barely feel like games nowadays are even close to maximizing the current consoles so I have 0 interest in a pro.
I’ll change my tune if GTA6 is able to achieve 60 fps on it though at any point in its life cycle.

My prediction is $649 without a disc drive. Ill probably just sell my regular one and upgrade, because I just can’t help myself. Gamestop trade-in credit for the digital version for pro members is $357 at the moment.

EUR price is over 25% USD, Seems only Hungary VAT makes it cheaper than in US, by razor thin margin.

Here I thought 700 euro was a lock, maybe even 650. I’m 100% sticking with my XSX for multiplats. Better RT and visual quality is always nice, but not 800 euros nice. Jesus.
Honestly can’t believe that price point - I’ll just buy a base PS5 or wait for the PS6 as not many games I’m eager to play that side anyway.
I was ready to lay down £600, maybe even £650, but for £700 I’d expect phenomenal performance and a 2TB drive at least.
That’s truly crazy - it surely will bomb hard so maybe I’ll pick it up on sale…

They only sold on the fact the consistency of what the dev did is better here. Why would I want to spend that much for something I may not even go back anymore, especially when my multiplayer is on Xbox.

Same here. Standard PS5 sometime next year, maybe.
I can also see a scenario where I just don’t buy one at all, the XSX honestly is doing me JUST FINE.
