Is Helldrivers 2 part of their GAAS initiative?
Presumably. The pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses hint at it, but are also kind of vague and may just be more traditional DLC. I’d be more than a little surprised if a multiplayer shooter published by a massive company in 2024 doesn’t have anything GaaSy about it.
Uh, weird. It doesn’t seem like the kind of game a company will throw money for a long period of time to compete against other GAAS.
I really hope our stuff in encrypted. I don’t need a repeat of the PS3 era.
Ah, classic Sony.
So is this hack a Remake or a Remaster?
As serious this is, I can’t help but laugh.
HAHAHA
I wonder how bad this is for its users. I don’t have an an account, but if I had I’d remove at least any PayPal info or Credit Card etc.

Vietnam flashback…
is this all stuff co0mming to ps5?
Frankly, I wouldn’t wish these troubles to anyone even Sony. Hackers are cool until they ruin everyone’s life by cutting access to services, stealing your passwords and making people angry on social medias. I really hope it’s not that bad.
No. That was what was leaked one of the other times Sony was hacked.
just looking at the ff7 rebirth footage… game looks like way more effort went into than ff16 with regards to the environments and moment to moment gameplay and characters.
Definitely. Very much looking forward to this one. Looks massive.
Also, the hybrid gameplay in the FF7 Remake between action RPG but slowing down the game to a crawl to use your ATB to cast spells or use abilities seems like the best way forward for the franchise so that it’s “modern”, but with a nod to the franchise’s turn based past.
FF XVI, although I found it fun while I was playing it, seemed more like a high budget spinoff than what we’ve seen of the Remake trilogy so far. Going full on character action with only minor RPG elements was…a choice.
Did they not start this with Strangers of Paradise? (Ok, probably before that, too.)
Full disclosure, I haven’t enjoyed a Final Fantasy game since 6 (SNES). The rest I trudged through because I was young(er?), under employed and had to make the most out of every game I bought on sale.
