I agree with the take that “second party” isn’t really a thing. Metroid Dread and Smash Bros Ultimate are first party Nintendo games even though they were made by developers that Nintendo doesn’t own.
Hell, isn’t the entire Kirby franchise, including the first game, made externally by HAL Laboratory? Would anyone argue that Kirby is not a first party franchise?
The way I look at it if first party owns the ip. Then I’ll consider it first party

Avatar, FF7 Rebirth and Spider Man 2 for me. Rest of the State of Play was crap. Like I have said for months, im not expecting a “showcase” until June or September 2024.

Yeah, NBA is nuts. It’s in top 5 most played in Xbox already. So there’s no shame in not beating that game in sales.
I would’ve liked if Starfield had this kind of smoothness, would have made for a better experience.

I think it’s a bit unfair to compare something like Starfield to Spider Man in regards to seamlessness. Starfield is just vastly a bigger game with much more things running in the background.
That said, I think the game could of handled the loading screens alot better than what it is right now.
I have no doubt that Spider Man 2 is setting the new standard for fast travel. It looks amazing.
