PSVR2 review from ARS:
The good
- Single USB-C cable means you can say goodbye to messy wires
- Simple setup process
- Bright, sharp, beautiful HDR scenes on high-resolution displays
- Head strap design stays comfortable even during long play sessions
- Light, unobtrusive hand-tracking controllers
- Decent price for the performance… if you own a PS5
The bad
- Features like headset rumble and eye-tracking seem underutilized
- USB tether can get in the way, limits where you can use it
- No built-in speakers or headphones
- Lots of software ports and few platform-selling exclusives
- Requires a PS5 to do the heavy processing
- No compatibility with existing PSVR software
The ugly
- You, if anyone else is in the room while you flail around in VR
Verdict: If you own a PS5 and want to see what’s up with VR these days, it’s an obvious choice. But other VR platforms might have more robust staying power

Also VR is still niche as fuck. A 7 for a VR game is actually pretty good. Most VR game are straight trash and are 5 and below lol. The quality in most VR game is not good.
True, but a killer app is needed for a hardware that cost more than a console. First VR is like first time experience. Here, you need to be convinced if you want it round 2.

This thing that cost more than the console itself was never gone to be a killer of anything. It might kill itself lol. Only the hardcore faithful will buy it. The average gamer won’t even give it a look. Not even Half Life if it were to be ported would move the needle IMO. Even on Steam, Alyx is niche.
No interest in VR gaming and im very happy that Microsoft has stayed away from it and hope they continue to stay away from it.

Agreed and I agree with the GamingBolt article that said Sony should have went with a new handheld instead of PSVR 2. Of course, without Sony’s full first party support of games, neither will succeed.
Sooner PSVR 2 bombs, the sooner Sony can end that shit. Hehehe.

Giant Bomb did a really good job showing off that Horizon VR game. I really recommend this video if you want to see the game in action. Dan seems to really like the game, even though he does not like the franchise much at all. The link below is set to start when they boot up Horizon.
