I liked this profile of Phil Spencer and overview of the Xbox business enough that I considered starting a new thread for it. It goes into his background, how he got started at Microsoft, how much of a gamer he really is, as well as the formation of Game Pass.
These 2 and 11 Bit Studios would be my top 3 next picks for solo studios, also maybe if they can get Crystal Dynamics and Eidos from Square along with the Deus Ex, Tomb Raider and Soul Reaver IP’s
I have the same story. Die-hard Sega fan who went over to Xbox as it felt like the new spiritual home for me. I wonder just what % of Xbox player base came from Sega. Without a doubt I think far more went to xbox than went to PS.
Well deserved indeed he like single handedly save Xbox Phil convience Satya Nadella to go all in on gaming without Phil i think Xbox would be dead

Good for him, Years from now when he is gone and people look at the history of gameing hes gonna be remembered as one of the people who disrupted it and changed it for the better. Xbox is lucky to have him as without Phil there may not even be an xbox

Congrats to Big Phil! you sir resurrected Xbox and deserve all the praise and recognition you are getting and then some! Thanks for making Xbox a kickass platform again (and for bringing a lot of cool Japanese games on Xbox!). 
Huge congrats Phil. Glad I stuck with Xbox through a slight dark period. Current times and the future is looking excellent.
