Persona 3 Portable, 4 Golden, and 5 Royale Coming to Xbox Consoles, Cloud, and PC

Why would you want to? Competely different compared to judgment though. Judgement romance is corny and forced and very akward.

Forging relationships in persona is some of the best in any game. The character development is incredible and the mini stories are very engaging…im speaking from my experience with P4. I havent dived into p5 that deep. But i know the girl i wanna date.

I don’t really care for romance in games, like in the Witcher 3, I didn’t bother with Yennefer, Shani and Triss beyond what I have to do to advance the story. There was no choosing between them, because what I wanted was to be a witcher not Geralt.

Romance is totally optional in Persona 5, it only becomes an option when you choose to spend time with a character and you have to opt in to the romantic route.

Youre just getting started. Wait until Makoto comes into the story Absolutely amazing character

I love her , she is such a Queen!!

Makoto is by far the most popular girl in the game and it’s not hard to see why - she’s just an amazing character. It’s a breath of fresh air to see someone in games like this who have their shit together. Hard to argue she doesn’t make a perfect compliment to Joker (even if Haru does it more for me)

I’m definitely enjoying Royal a lot more than Vanilla now. I think Maruki may even be my favourite confidant in the game. His whole inclusion feels really natural and organic too, sadly Kasumi doesn’t reach the same heights and I’ve been mostly skipping her dialogue.

Still playing exclusively on xCloud and it runs like an absolute dream. Everything about this release is so nailed on, gotta hope this will lead to an Xbox (and perhaps even Game Pass) day one release for P6

Yeah this game is THE showcase game for xcloud. Absolutely perfect. I love plsying on my massive OLED too at 4k but so far 30 hours in and ive spent half of that on xcloud and withiut xcloud im in the same position i was 5 eyars ago with p5…just not enough time to sit in my living room to play it and i end up dropping it.

Oh and my cousin got the switch version which ibplayed for a bit and thst version doesnt look anywhere near as good as it does on my phone through xcloud. Granted…i have a 1k dollar phone but still…

lol. I play games too slowly these days. I’m only just getting to the end of the first castle and others are halfway through the game.

Don’t push yourself. I play 30-45 minutes a day and it’s been great so far. And I’m still in the middle of the first castle, so there’s no rush to beat the game. It’s not a contest.

I’m pretty much playing it as a TV show, slowly making progress through this massive game.

To be honest, I’m scared of just getting exhausted half way through it which happens with a lot of game I’m playing. So I try to enjoy it fully or it’s time wasted and 30-45 min play sessions are perfect as it makes me want to get back every day to see what’s next.

Im 25 hours in and loving it but I’ve started coming across an issue

I’ve started doing a fair amount of Persona fusing which is very fun discovering new cool Persona and abilities but there’s a problem with it

Im starting to get Persona’s that are wayyyy too powerful and it’s stopping me from wanting to fuse to them and I know they are the stupidly OP ones that came from dlc because they all have 0 cost in the the persona library thing

Why on earth didn’t they keep these in a separate section? the fact you can come across these completely accidentally fusing two relatively weak Persona’s and end up completely breaking the game because of it seems like a hell of an oversight

Yeah…they really screwed up with Royal because you couldn’t do this in Vanilla. I’m sort of finding a balance between having personas around my Level and also ones associated with the social links I’m trying to max. I’m also just using random Personas to make it a bit more challenging. Upping the difficulty does help

Stay away from DLC persona though. I’m going to use them on NG+ to speed run and 100% it though

Actually you could do this in Vanilla too but only if you bought the DLC, it’s particularly an issue with Kaguya and Izanagi - who are low enough level to create through fusion early even if you ignore their registry record. In Vanilla you could just not buy the OP DLC, but now it’s included it’s sadly unavoidable.

I just ignore them and fuse everything else normally, you can look up calculators if you want to avoid them, but it’s definitely a pain. I’m playing on Hard and the game is still on the easy side as it is.

At least this won’t be an issue with P4G or P3P.

My biggest issue with the vanilla game when I played it on launch is that they spent so much time recapping things I already knew. I can see that actually being helpful if you play it over a long period the way you are.

Doesn’t change the fact that they should be separate but can you just use them as fusion fodder or turn them into equipment or skill cards or something (I don’t remember the way it works in 5)?

Yeah that’s an option I guess but you’ll almost certainly get crazy strong equipment out of that

Of course you don’t have to use it but it’s still a pain either way, it just seems weirdly done for a game that 30 hours in appears to be so well crafted
