Was the game even properly announced though? I don’t think that Project Fantasy is even a final name.
I should add, I do think there will continue to be Atlus skips for Xbox. Persona 4 Arena already skipped Xbox this year. I already said I think Etrian Odyssey is exclusive to Switch. And I do think Vanillaware games (which Atlus publishes) aren’t coming to Xbox (I think they’re Switch/PS).
Major games like Re Fantasy and P6, I don’t think launch exclusive to PS anymore.
Did it skip or was just removed as BC?
The remaster for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax skipped Xbox. It was on 360 and isn’t on BC (only the original Persona 4 Arena is)
Granted, like Vanillaware, this is also a game that’s developed outside of Sega. Arcsys made it.
Mine too but I’ve been playing already. You didn’t get the Steelbook?
I remember people were saying that if Microsoft is not doing marketing via banners and etc. then it is not necessary. Yet
It is like a second launch of Persona 5
That’s not what folks said.
Do you have any actual data to provide return on investment for all this marketing expenditure?
Who knows but as if can see Microsoft promoting Persona more than its own first party games, then it has a good ROI
Kinda assumed every pre-order would be the Steelbook edition. Turns out only a few retailers got Steelbooks were I live. Not too fussed about it though since I have the regular P5 Steelbook.
Does anyone know how often the most played charts are updated? I’ve been checking to see if P5R has cracked them, but it’s not there yet, and I’m starting to suspect they only update, like, once a week or something.
I think the charts are updated once a week, not sure when though.
Quick question, after the second Pervert Castle outing, when talking to Morgana, does the way I answer matter when they tell us about their plan to Include us in their investigation? Because I said “what plan?” thinking that Morgana would explain, but instead they got angry and started yelling at me about looking down on them for being a cat.
Nah just banter i think
Thanks, I was thinking I could have said something that could change something later on.
Huh, okay. Once a week seems a bit low for a most frequently played games chart lol, but at least that means we should wait for now. Thank you!
think if Sega has any say in the situation, most of Atlus’s output will be multiplatform moving forward.
The impressions I get from some posts here, and some posts on Installbase is that Xbox/Switch/PC players should kiss Atlus goodbye after P3/P4 remasters because Atlus will be “shifting” into a PS only developer after that (a number of posters on IB are convinced there won’t be any more Atlus games on Switch either).
Even though Sega stressed the importance of multiplat and, yes, Atlus has been dragged into that too.
Even though Sony has never actually invested into Atlus once and their PS games were exclusive for free
Even though MS has been giving them the best marketing campaign they’ve ever had in the West and most definitely was talking to Sega about getting future Atlus games too.
It all just wraps around to the “Sony is gonna fight back against Switch/Xbox using Japanese partnerships” scares which I’m still waiting to actually see. Like how I’m still waiting for that Capcom moneyhat that keeps getting insisted upon by doomsayers.
We’ve already seen it happen multiple times now; Sega is helping Atlus with multiplat development. Why would they suddenly back out of it?
It’s because everyone seems to think that every Japanese publisher is square-Enix. I don’t think Xbox would be trying to associate P5R with Xbox/gamepass so hard with marketing if it was already a guarantee the next game in the series was skipping the platform.
