DLSS is currently Nvidia-only technology.

Maybe when Intel XeSS is available on Intel and AMD GPUs then the console first games will support ML-AA.

EDIT: Also, I thought Deathloop and Doom Eternal, both Microsoft games, does support DLSS.

I mean, Sony does support DLSS in their pc ports.

EDIT: Deathloop was well into its way before any MS relationship, its release status does confirm it. XD

So does Microsoft, they support DLSS in Deathloop and Doom Eternal.

Again, Bethesda games already releasead are not really the object of the question. I was speaking of XGS games.

But the DLSS release update for Doom Eternal was long after the acquisition completed.

We are going in circles, it’s clear the “old Bethesda” games are out of MS influence, expecially tech wise.

Mostly because of the AMD partnership, and perhaps there is something on the roadmap that is similar ot DLSS. I don’t see it being complex to implement. It is a design choice right now, and primarily because this is an NVidia only thing.

The interesting part is all the three companies co-design DXR, VRS, SFS and Mesh Shaders, so it comes down to mostly partnership.

they work closely with Nvidia on Minecraft demos with DLSS, and the Mesh Shaders and stuff. So, there is no single consistent answer.

Yeah, that’s also my assumption, there is no real consistency.

We’ll see ML-AA applied to more Xbox PC games when Intel XeSS (open technology) is released and is fine tuned for AMD GPUs.

The answer might lie in what can scale across devices with less effort. And the answer there is not clear.

I suspect they have a DLSS equivalent, and a DLAA equivalent that they would like to use without relying too much on trained models being licensed from NVidia for this purpose. There are definitely research projects in MSR and Xbox on this.

The two graphic architecture teams are actually a bit proud of their ML/DL skills in-house. NVidia is definitely proud of its DL team, and MS is no slouch at DL skills themselves.

Even though I have had many nvidia cards in the past. I really am not a fan of their way of making business. Their special technologies break the neutrality of pc gaming. I can understand why devs are not keen to tie their games to a particular company.

By the way the Lenovo Legion 5 pro is a really really really nice gaming laptop. Much quieter than expected and the screen is fabulous. the cpu and gpu munch through the games with ease.

We’ve had no official comment, but yes it has been noticed by a lot of people that the only MS games that have it are Beth.

Especially wierd since most of Microsoft is on Unreal Engine (which has official support in the engine) and most of the rest still have TAA, which makes for straight forward integration. I think FH5 is the only game in their stable that is neither UE / Unity nor has TAA built in.

It won’t result in “tying” your company to them - many games use both DLSS and the (notably inferior) FSR, plus they can integrate their own solutions and scaling on top of that if they want. Deathloop has DLSS and FSR for example.

In the future, we will definitely see PC games that use DLSS, XeSS and also FSR as options.

It is weird to see AMD pitch FSR against DLSS.

Expecting ATG//MSR’s DLSS equivalent to also enter the fray soon.

Yeah saw this, but doubt the gamepass thing at launch tbh.

Is there any chance we get achievements for EA and Ubisoft PC titles. Currently Xbox PC app is a wrapper around the EA Play and Ubisoft+ launcer. I don’t care about 100% a game, but I do care about achievements in general. Great way of logging your progress.
