Reading the article, it is not over, they are looking for another platform.

Ugh. I really enjoyed S2 (tho I need to subscribe again to watch the last 2 eps). Hope they get to get the team back together, though I figured as soon as the merger went through this would happen.

I think it will be picked. Ratings for the show were pretty good.

I will regret this, but hopefully by Amazon so that Halo and Fallout are on the same app.

The executives at Paramount Plus watched Fallout on Amazon Prime and saw what actual good tv looks like then said “fire everyone at Halo “

Really sucks, it was by far the best thing on Paramount+ and the only thing I’d pay a sub for - South Park is getting very stale, their one-off series are usually middling and if you’re not into cowboy / cowboy-esque storylines there’s basically nothing on there for you.

If I didn’t get it free as part of Sky Cinema, I’d be cancelling right now - fingers crossed this finds a home at Amazon as @Kals_Els is suggesting, as it may finally get the budget they need while Netflix would probably try and do it on the cheap…

What does everyone make of this rumour that Christopher Nolan wants to pick up Halo?

Pure fantasy.

I agree it’s likely nonsense, however if Nolan was interested it would probably become my most anticipated show in a long time.

I know some people enjoyed the show. But through two full seasons I never got into it and kept watching on hope alone.

Maybe one of the other streaming platforms can reboot it. Heck, with a few tweaks here and there, they could actually turn it into a show about Halo.

I’d rather they drop the show and shop around for a movie instead.

I doubt they will get anyone to greenlit another season it’s obvious at this time that the show was a miss. Fallout is the standard now and Amazon seems to be one that’s really willing to spend. At this point the show needs a reboot that is better grounded in the lore. There were too many unforgivable missteps especially with season 1.

Thats what the show was finally getting to. They were finally on the Halo at the end.

Its a shame that Paramount corporation is in such disarray over debt and cash spending that they’ve limited spending to such levels.

Do they continue with this story or start fresh and “give” fans what they wanted. I don’t think Halo lends well to live action and the TV show format honestly because how much CGI and effects they’re gonna need to make it look good. TLOU and Fallout are pretty much easy to do because they don’t have to worry about the things a Halo show would have to, for example Chief and co all wearing suits all the time.

There are only two realistic scenarios. The first is that somebody else picks up the show and continues from where it has been going and the second is that we don’t get anything live forHalo for two decades or more if it is cancelled completely
