Got my original switch data transfered and everything setup. Now it is redownloading games.
Found out the games that arenât performing well in first Switch gets uncapped frame rate without any enhancement. Thatâs good to know.

Hopefully someone here can help a friend of mine out. He wants to connect his Switch 2 to his router, but itâs greyed out. Switch 1 works fine. What is this?
Almost assuredly unsupported wireless security type, if I had to guess.

Received mine earlier today and it was very simple to set up and transfer from the OG Switch. Only had time for a quick test of MK World and Zelda: BotW with the S2 upgrade, and they both looked and felt great to play. Going to spend a lot of time playing it this weekend!

I had to run some errands this morning and not a single store has sold out (of three). Like I said in the lead up, the preorders donât matter, and with the economic situation the way it is, itâs definitely not the Wii or Switch all over again.
For the record, I worked at BB during the start of the Wii gen and it was impossible to get these things for the first two years. I just watched a random couple, who forgot it was out today, walk into a Microcenter, see they had a pallet of stock and just walked off with one. Literally was impossible for Wii for the first couple yearsâŚ

Can someone confirm how many games it can suspend/resume? If its just one game like og switch then thatâs lame, I heard Nintendo had a patent for copying Xbox quick resume but Iâm guessing notâŚ
Yep - I had to buy our original Wii from a scalper out the back of his car boot (at some dodgy motorway services) after travelling all over my home county trying to get one

I also had to queue at midnight for many of the games and Wii fit, I canât see the same happening for the Switch 2. Iâm not going to bother with it until it significantly drops in price.

Some devices donât like it when you have 2.4ghz and 5ghz with the same SSID, I wouldnât imagine the Switch 2 wouldnât have this issue but maybe worth splitting the bands?

It works exactly the same as the Switch 1, it closes the running game if you go and open another one.

Pretty awesome day. Love new console launches. In all the excitement I bought the Pro controller and Nintendo Expansion Online or whatever itâs called. Mario Kart World is a lot of fun.

My order still hasnât shipped and Iâm kinda pissed even though customer service just told me it should be here tomorrow lol, I have no idea how theyâll do that!
I guess itâs not the end of the world though, with so much stuff to play on Gamepass itâs not like I have any free time anyway!
Yeah, My Target preorder wasnât shipped this morning so I just went to Walmart at store open and scored a console that way. Cancelled my Target preorder.
Also, I was In Costco this afternoon and they still had plenty of stock, check there (in store).

I havenât open it yet, but the fact itâs really small, this sure screams cost reduction by all cost.
He fixed it. Apparently he had two routers connected or something. Well, long story short, he removed one and itâs fine now. Iâm happy for him because new console and then Internet issues is just super annoying.

Whatâs the best case for Switch 2? I forgot to grab one.
Iâve heard good things about the Tomtoc one, but my switch systems never leave the dock, so I donât have any personal recommendations.
