I will be honest - I haven’t played any of their previous games. Not that I don’t want to, but I do have a backlog like many of you lol. So, I cannot judge those games at all, except how they look visually from gameplay footage available online. And more or less, this looks like Arkane style in that aspect (in a good way).
Regardless, I am really looking forward to this game.
Yeah, that was what made me be interested. If I had to run around with those goofy characters as AI companions… nah pass.
I’ll play the least annoying character solo, and it’s in first person with no AI companions. Perfect.
Any confirmation if the AI takes any of the other characters?
All the videos they show solo gameplay there is no AI around.
No AI-controlled partners in solo.
Shame. Would be cool to have at least 1 AI
Depends on preference - Many, including myself, want to have a proper solo experience without any other character around.
Yea im glad solo is purely solo, the forced AI things was one of RE5s biggest issues

For an Arkane game, no AI makes more sense.
As an option sure but ai in a game like this supposedly semi open world…doesnt make sense.
But it does? It works perfectly fine in an actual open world game like Far Cry. And im not talking about forced AI, just a choice of 1 character… considering this is sold as a coop game, not having a way to simulate that while solo… its kinda strange.

Ruining the immersion with one of those Fortnite characters running around Marvel-commenting on stuff? No thanks.
The solo experience in Arkane games is about atmosphere, immersion and taking your time to explore and experiment with different ways to approach situations. Having AI teammates would negatively affect that experience.
Borderlands doesn’t give you AI teammates and that’s the closest comparison to Redfall.
