$500, no disk drive? Why would removing the disk drive on a premium console be desirable? That just gives microsoft more control over how you play your games.
A fully all digital future is not something you should want. We need a balance for game preservation and consumer protection, along with competition on game prices. There are some games that never seem to go on sale on the Xbox digital store but can be bought on disk for cheap, or through buy one get one type deals.
This is ridiculous, if you’re passionate about your hobby being gaming you must own a few games physically. I don’t like it. I was fine with my xbox series s being digital becaue the price point but if a series x that’s fully digital and comes with 2tb of storage for $500 I could see it replacing the disk version.
If this happens they better have an option still for a disk version of the series x.
