I doubt there’s much I can add to the conversation that hasn’t already been said. This is the kind of thing that typically only occurs in the mind, when contemplating what Microsoft could do. To see this come to fruition is pretty surreal.
There is so much to unpack here, but I believe the most important outcome of this acquisition is the desperately needed change in Activision Blizzard’s leadership.

It’s not really an acquisition for me haha 
. I think the only Activision games I bought last gen were Crash Trilogy, Tony Hawk, and Sekiro. Totally understand how this is a landmark day in gaming though.

Really hoping they do lots with whatever kid friendly IPs come a long with this deal. I feel like it’s Xbox’s biggest weakness, even above the (relative) lack of Japanese content. Maybe not the lack of IP, but at least how it’s utilized. Maybe if Toys for Bob wanted to, they could have a wealth of IPs they’d be able to play around with.
