Not to derail further, but I am no okay with welcoming types like JayDub and Crap back into the Xbox community.

For years their trolling wasn’t “playful” and “joking” it was down right mean spirited and hateful. Harassment of Xbox devs, celebrating departments from Xbox studios, cracking jokes about Bethesda on the day of Altman’s death, causing DF dude to have a near breakdown over praising Series S|X engineering.

Now that Xbox is popular again, they want to come back with “I was just clowning man. It’s all for the lulz”.

Nah fam, GTFO.

I’m usually really forgiving and understanding, but when you’re hardcore trolling like that I tend to agree with your sentiment. I really hate it when people Mooch the rising popularity of something they were dumping on before.

No, but since the FTC will barely look at this purchase given how massive the video game industry is I stand by what I said.

That is not even remotely true. Not sure why ppl imagine the entertainment industry’s largest acquisitions would just be passed thru the process lazily. That did not happen when Disney bought Fox for basically the same amount.
