I watched it… And his reasoning for it doesn’t make sense because he totally forgets about gamepass and uses the ecosystem approach in all the wrong ways.

He thinks that without PlayStation money they’re leaving money on the table… I find it funny how some fail to see how money will follow their strategy if they stick to it.

That reasoning has always been so stupid. Without putting God of War and Spiderman on Xbox Sony is leaving Xbox money on the table! Oh, wait, they make far more money from getting more people into their ecosystem (especially now with subscription services) than by just having them buy the occasional $60 game. How hard is that for people to understand??

Yes it likely would be forced to. I doubt MS wants to make CoD multiplatform, but think they don’t have a lot of choice to try finding a way to make it happen. Same would be true for Sony if they were the ones controlling the IP.

Nah, Sony would lock that down so fucking fast. Their strategy the entire time Playstation has existed has been to fuck over everyone else, yet people think they’re the “good guy” for some reason.

Apparently Infinity war have the new cod in a good state according to reports so it could come out this year - I’m especially excited to see what they could do with that leaked 3rd mode they have been working on which is meant to be like Escape From Tarkov, i think that sounds great, But maybe Activision delay it for a year just to give them polish time knowing they getting how much from Microsoft anyway… also it could make them put more resources into Warzone at the moment which is in it’s worst state it’s ever been.

I think this year COD is already a lock, even if MS close the deal before fall. Next year will be probably the same, unfortunately. From 2024 onwards will be a clean slate for all AB games.

Next year could be delayed tbh. Treyarch had much development issues putting Cold war out… and don’t forget had to work on Vanguards zombies mode as well.

Estimates from analysts are around 50.8bn in revenue and 17.5bn in profit. Let’s see if they hit that target or are higher

They could put out MW3 Remastered and put it first on playstation since they have that already made apparently… and were reportedly saving for a rainy day - They apparently made the remaster same time they made Cod 4 remastered same as they did with MW2 campaign- Well that’s what the leaks say anyway…
