Probably between end of October-Beginning of November like most recent COD titles.
Dude sounds so confident. I cant even began to imagine what happened behind the scenes for the deal to go from “dead” to “most likely to go through than not”…kind of insane if you think about it.
So what happens tomorrow? FTC embracing the clown shoes/keeping a bit of dignity at least and the deadline for the CMA to give the CAT what they asked to grant the pause right? (don’t know if the last part is correct)
From what I understand reading the tweets from the ML reporter, the commissioner are not in charge of the decision to grant the withdrawal application but the FTC secretary. That been said, the commissioner do have the power to bring it back or overturn it. Very unlikely since the FTC hasn’t done that in 30yr but you never know what these clown would do next.

New Zealand don’t matter. Example, even if they block the deal in NZ. Deal still goes through. Only FTC, EU, CMA, China matters.
NZ does whatever CMA does so they will follow suit.
Perhaps as New Zealand is a commonwealth country similar to Australia they are waiting to see what happens in the UK.

I think they may drop it only because they’re supposedly bringing a very big case against Amazon for their online retail business practices. They may need a lot of resources to fight that case so it’s possible they drop their opposition to the acquisition. Saying all that this is the FTC so I wouldn’t bet on it with their previous actions

NZ and Australia are the (only ?) countries to have signed a commercial agreement with UK after Brexit. I wonder if this has any relation.

Quite a few juicy nuggets in the less redacted version such as Jim stating the the reason they release later on PC is to force PC owners to buy a PS. We all knew this of course but the quote makes it official.
Wonder how the PC guys feel now about buying Spiderman years after release just to be milked by Sony

So as things stand now, it likely will be late August for things to finally over done?
My hope is to finish the COD Ghosts campaign finally through GamePass and then start Starfield.
The Microsoft/ABK lawyer did say it would be about 3 days before they could submit it. So either later today or tomorrow.
