To be fair Xbox is not here today if it isnāt for Phil Spencer. Microsoft would have shut it down like mixer and windows phone and moved on. So it is his vision and the hard work of his entire team that has gotten Xbox to where it is today.
I donāt think that the message āin phil we trustā inherently means anything more then a show appreciation to someone who large swaths of people will call for his head, his job, and his livlihood at the drop of a hat. It seemed more like an attempt at a unifying statement while trying to show support then what you are reading into it.
I donāt think the statement is trying to do what you are portrying but to each his own.

I agree with this take. As someone who has no strong feelings about the tweet one way or another, if I were to have to guess I would assume people thought it went off the rails with the āBleed Greenā part.
But that is just an assumption on my part.
