Newer CoD are likely to be added next year, right? Saw a comment that it won’t be until after 2025, but that can’t be right.
I havn’t played a CoD single player since the OG Black Ops and I havn’t played any of the Crash, Spyro or Tony Hawk remasters

I’ve seen this online from something that was put in the CMA documents but then there was something in the FTC trial that the deal ends next year but only covers this year’s COD, so who knows

It’s over for the FTC, this was their shot and they blew it, they couldn’t even get a PI they are not getting another TRO or a court case, and without the PI MS can close now

I gotta say I was expecting more than that. Perhaps it will be way more, for example the Ultimate Alliance titles? I mean that’s not just a Spidey only game, or is that also still a license issue?
MS has misread the CMA before. I just hope they haven’t done so this time.
I missed a couple COD campaigns from the Xbox One era, I haven’t played the futuristic one and one other one.

I think this whole thing is being blown out of proportion. Especially since MS has not said anything with regards to this CMA report, that would mean they are already aware.

Yep with 3 billion at stake if they do not close on Monday MS will take on any fines imposed since those would be much less then 3 billion, The CMA will waffle themselves into the CAT smacking them down at this point. The FTC trial showed the world that no one has a real legal case to stop this and with that MS are going to move forward.

Financial Times who are usually very accurate saying that MS and CMA have entered into talks for a period of ‘3 months’ and nothing is agreed or on the table yet even. The conclusion of talks could result in a new deal being proposed and therefore a new investigation. Microsoft instigated the talks so this is their request and the CMA have promised nothing.
So that pretty much means this is dragging on a fair old while yet. Its never going to end.
Personally, I would just close this acquisition this Friday and enjoy my weekend over the FTC who’s just as usual wasting everyone’s money and time while also telling the CMA that they can explain to their consumers in the UK why they will not be getting ABK games while the rest of the world will.

That would mean that they’ve extended the deal with ABK for that period or they plan on closing before the date and negotiating after the fact
