I pretty much almost played all of those, haha.
So we could be getting them in January or February next year? Thatâs fine too.
Itâs always been one of lifeâs paradoxesâŚ
Hes a nutter, never forget his crap about wishing Xbox never happened.
Really? Care to share over DM. Rather not begin a subtopic over here.
It was mostly just him dooming about an all cloud future. Which will never happen.
Thatâs good then. Wouldnât it be nice if they can just close this deal and no other BS happens afterwards? I guess thereâs still the FTC though.
I wonder when we can expect the official announcement and then them adding a lot of games to GP. I guess that will be August probably. On the other hand, weâre still in the first half of JulyâŚ
Everyoneâs jumping immediately to no CoD on GP/xCloud in the UK, but when they say small Iâm thinking more like âno price increases for x yearsâ.
Dude half the era thread is people arguing in bad faith then wondering why a few people are hoping for some good faith posts.
The meltdowns today on social media . wow
Yeah Iâm wondering if someone just misused the word divestiture along the way instead of concessions and the media just ran with it.
Divestiture means selling something or spinning it out. So selling xcloud in U.K. or spinning it out seems the only thing that makes sense. Will still have everything on gamepass as that is not the CMA concern. So has to be cloud.
So dumb. Cloud will be the future if itâs the preferred way for users. Itâs not something corporations can force from top down. And if itâs the preferred way for users, who is he to tell them otherwise?
If someone told me that itâs better for me to buy DVD or Blurays rather than stream video off Internet, Iâd tell him to fuck off.
I just wonder whether âkleegamefanâ heard about the denial of the FTC injunction while up in Alaska or not And yes only some of you will get that reference.
Iâm just really hoping that the only thing CMA accomplishes is not making the UK gamers take the short end of the stick here.
There are somethings theyâre doing that are actually good, the problem is that the ideology that they choose to use to decided whatâs bad and whatâs good, doesnât line up with this case in anyway what so ever.
They literally abandoned any sort of moral obligations to protect consumers and competition because their head is a tankie that believes that if itâs not done their way itâs being done wrong.
Maybe itâs just because I donât have a Twitter account and still canât see a lot of whatâs going on there. But it doesnât seem too bad to me. Gaming forums are actually better than I expected as well. More subtle whining than outright trolling. Except GAF, but that place is a fucking mess anyway.
EDIT: Maybe some people are just in shock? Think a lot of people had themselves convinced this was dead.
Because many rage quit. No really, I encountered some that closed their account.
It is so lame, Ive been a gamer since 1977 and I cannot get over these ludite knuckle draggers claiming doom over every new gaming innovation. I lived through the game crash of 83 as a kid that was heavily into gaming, people that profess doom like that for something like cloud gaming can fuck right off.
Gaming is better now then ever and cloud gaming will open things up for many. Spare me the stupid gatekeeping
But donât you understand, people are just repeating what MS said, no one in their right mind would think that a 2 trillion dollars company is doing something for consumers, canât believe regulators are rolling over instead of fighting back, there is no good for the consumer here, Iâll have to buy another system to play the games I like which isnât fair as the others should be buying the system I like instead! I lied when I actually said I owned a gaming Pc and played all Ms games there!
Basically ERA in a nutshell right now
