So Activision is feeling good about it?

Iā€™m old too and had to look it up, it means charisma, swagger, etc.

I can easily see the decision being the 12th with Microsoft/FTC appealing within the five days which would put it the day before the deadline.

Iā€™m of the belief that the PI will be granted and that Microsoft will appeal the decision and this shit will drag out for at least another year. But weā€™ll see. Either way, I think this shit is far from over. But I really hope and wish it would just end.

Kinda feels like they know something

There is no way to know anything though at least according to those who know the processes. They arenā€™t tipped off about these things in advance. Suggestion was they know when we do.

I do find it odd timing given that an hour prior to the Activison tweet someone made a multimillion dollar premium buy targeting positive Microsoft / Activision news.

The FTC, ABK and Microsoft will know the official decision before itā€™s released publicly.

ā€¦or you knowā€¦its just a company and its employees promoting their properties following the release of a new game featuring said characterā€¦

Not every tweet is a cryptic message or veiled secret. Good lord.

We are still early in California, could come today.

It reminds me of how everytime Ed Boon tweets from his personal account it is a cryptic message about unannounced Mortal Kombat secrets. In reality he was just tweeting about playing basketball at the rec center.

I forget this is taking place there, so 3 hours behind.

I expect weā€™ll know by the end of the day (so, 9-10pm US Eastern). That would then give MS, ABK and the FTC a few business days to choose what needs to be redacted, and then give the Court a day to incorporate all that into their final public filing which we should get no later than the 12th.

From what I understand, the public filing is when weā€™ll get to actually read the findings, but we should know the overall outcome earlier. To be honest, Iā€™m not obsessively following this, so please correct me if Iā€™m wrong.

Apparently not.

Is judge based in west or east coast

West coast

This has no bearing on when we will see a result, but I was just looking at the entries for the transcripts, and it looks like the redacted transcripts from the court reporter wonā€™t be viewable to the public until October 2nd.

So we may have a better idea on some of the hard to hear parts then.

Really? I would think that they would have to be notified in order to appeal the decision if they choose to do so.
