Xbox will be fine, a major setback no doubt, but they had plans prior to the ABK deal and those are still on track

I’m suprised they are going to the appeals process. Not only is the bar very high but they will have to likely renegotiate the deal with Activision blizzard to extend the time frame which probably comes with more financial penalties over theb$3bn in currently is.

It’s going to have to include more financial penalties. This deal dying will do immense harm to Activision as a company.

Not sure if it’s just me but all the joy of Xbox just got sucked out the room.

Yes they’ve got great games coming but now I feel all the other companies will pick up all the good devs while Xbox deal and ultimately loose this case.

I’m gunna come off the internet for a few weeks haha.

I was never a fan of this acquisition and i thought it wasn’t a good move compared to Bethesda, Obsidian etc ones.

But there was a big upside, and it was ABK would really help Xbox grow and compete.

MS should move on and continue to acquire studios like IOI, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos, etc don’t waste a single more second on ABK, Sega or other big publishers, and secure some third party big deals.

Basically move back to X360 times but with a huge first party team now.

Or just waste more years appealing for this while they stay on the low profile to look like good guys.

But it’s true Microsoft only made deals with Cloud Providers who use Windows. This ensures that Linux or any other OS can’t become viable platforms to adopt in Cloud gaming businesses.

SteamOS has a web browser no?

Linux has a web browser no?

MacOS has a web browser no?

Anyone on those operating systems can still play on cloud.

I’m really genuinely not… Look at xbox’s main first party. Now add Bethesda to that. Xbox is fine. Activision wasn’t even the plan. THEY approached xbox for acquisition.
