It’s idiotic that this sad sack of a case wasn’t dismissed.

Judge decides whether to dismiss on March 23rd. MS motion to stay the hearing to dismiss was denied, the reasoning being that MS said they’ll close over FTC once CMA + EU is done.

Judge made the most logical decision.

Case should have been dismissed when filed. No logical judge should have spent any time on this case.

Is that even possible?

That lawsuit by the gamers, let me guess? all them so-call gamers suing are Sony warriors right? LOL

If you read the document, it sure does feel that way.

Dismiss the case filing with prejudice. Im pretty sure. I think this is what happened with half of the stuff Trump lawyers filed, lol.

I want to see them when they come on Twitter crying after the judge dismisses the suit and awards Microsoft lawyer fees.

The judge need to throw out the case now. I bet if they release the names? you will see 1 of the many infamous Sony warriors.

I meant dismiss without a hearing.

People need to relax on the gamer lawsuit, its a lawyer taking advantage of a bunch of idiots

Ffs theyre asking for Satya to be removed as CEO

Like someone else said the judge made the decision based on what MS said about closing after the EU and CMA approve

The case will likely get tossed 10 minutes within opening statements

Yeah, those people are in for a big surprise when the judge tosses it and they find out they still owe the lawyer a bunch of money.

Is it this week we are expecting news from the CMA and/or the EU?

From the objections/concerns side of things, the MS will offer solutions.

MLEX said the EC news was dropping next week. Didnt say anything about the CMA, but they have documents due late Jan, early Feb.

With the statement of objections coming this week, how long should we expect Microsoft to go before releasing a response with concessions offered?

The first supreme court rulings from this session come out today. No idea what the chances are that we could hear something about Axon.

I wonder if either of them point out the differences in subscriptions such as day and date, constant third party/indie deals etc. I assume not.

I get both their stances, google wants to remain on top and Nividia wants CoD on its subscription because everyone else is getting it.

Honestly not to be a downer but I think all 3 places will block this deal. I picture it as if it’s me asking my grandparent for a new 2023 released video game and them come back with snakes and ladders 2nd hand board game. They just don’t understand the market or what you’ve asked for.

I’d rather it go through after all this but I don’t see it, fingers crossed I’m wrong.
