Xbox has announced the first few games that will benefit from a feature named “FPS Boost”, which increases the framerate of select backwards compatible games to 60 FPS or even 120 FPS. Absolutely no work is needed to be done by the developers. Additionally, you are able to disable FPS Boost and Auto HDR if you would like to. Here is the full list of FPS Boost games:

In the article they show a menu where you can disable it on a game by game basis. Today you can only do this on a global level. In most games Auto HDR works fine, but i had some where it looked wrong like in Divinity II. So this will come in handy.
This is amazing. I’m not that hyped about these particular games, but I’m hyped about this feature and look forward to enjoy even more titles once I hopefully get series x. Keep up the good work Microsoft!
