But would they be ugly though? MS has a very powerful defense force there - GamePass and PC releases. Saying that the games are coming day 1 on gamepass will eat all the bad press because it is the best deal in gaming and a very cheap entry point.
They are certainly not a bad guy there - I mean Playstation owners are very loud true, but these time exclusive shenanigans of Sony already pissing off a lot of people in every camp. Even zealous defenders of time exclusives started to realize that and they are much less vocal these days.
In fact even exclusivity will be justified by need for GamePass exclusive content. MS is in a better position there 100%. Aside price hike - GamePass allows MS doing much bolder moves as long as GamePass value increases. Anecdotally even the price hike did not affect perception of a lot of people - especially those who use GamePass. GamePass is a joker there.
It’ll take a long time for all previous bethesda titles to come into gamepass, they’re gonna dripfeed the fuck out of it.
Neither Deathloop nor Ghostwire Tokyo is coming to Gamepass PC at launch, because Gamepass PC is still an Xbox platform, which these games are not coming to for a year.
Yes, they gotta do this. It’s probably the most important information they need to clarify leading up to e3.
I can see some small hints on certain games in the works talked about in passing when interviewing the studios.
Definitely possible, but a teaser is more realistic, but they’ll confirm that Starfield’s platforms at the end of the teaser like they’ve done with Fable/Everwild/Perfect Dark so on. E3 shall have a full blown trailer for Starfield where they’ll confirm when it’s coming.
Remember how Metro Exodus and Phoenix Point were Epic exclusives but suddenly came out on Game Pass on PC way way before Steam? everything is possible, MS could’ve negotiated the release of the games on PC Game Pass for all we know.
