I’m a 37 yo male living near Linz, Austria (so my English is not the best) and I’m with Xbox since the first day it was announced.
As married father my time I can spend on gaming has a bit shortened the last years and night times have become my favorite time to play. ^^
I love Shooter / RPGs / Fighting / Racing and Shoot em Ups… and looking forward to Halo Infinite / CP77 / DIRT 5 / FM … etc… currently I’m playing CoD Modern Warfare, Gears 5, Mortal Kombat 11, …
As a passionated Xbox gamer I’m very excited to get my hands on Series X day one and I love the pro customer way Microsoft and Xbox is delivering to us these days.
I found this forum via a twitter post from our well known german community member @Klobrille … an dieser Stelle Beste Grüße nach Deutschland ^^
Wish us all a good time and good conversations in this forum… cu
Hey y’all.
The name’s Akosii. I’m from California and I’m 24 years old and currently living that college undergrad life. Been gaming since as long as I can remember. The fist console I was ever exposed to was the N64. But the first console I called my own was, ironically enough, a PS2.
But once I had a 360 I jumped in and was hooked ever since. Hope we all have some great discourse here!
Hi folks, I’m 34 from Scotland and I’ve been way into gaming for as long as I can remember. I own all the consoles and have a decent PC, so no shortage of games to play. I just don’t have as much time as I’d like these days as I have a 5 month old son!
I browse Era and occasionally post but it’s nice to see more of an Xbox centric forum without any drama to discuss gaming on.
Hi guys, Neural from Italy here. Old-time Xbox fan, founded Italy’s most renowned (and long-lived) Xbox fansite (MondoXbox.com) back in 2002, when I was 30. So do the math about my age
I’m not so sure I’ll stick around, I frankly believe we should stay at Era, but who knows. I’ll keep an eye open on this forum, but if it had a new topics RSS it would be a much easier task. Enjoy, I’m sure great times await ahead for us Xbox fans
That’s great to hear, I really hope you get to visit one day. It can be a beautiful place for sure - with some issues, of course, but I suppose that’s unavoidable.
Anyway, it seems we have a nice diverse community forming here already. Welcome, everyone!
I’m Brian, 35, from Scotland but living in England. I started gaming on an Atari but it wasn’t until PS1 that I properly got in to games. I’ve had every console since (apart from a couple Nintendo consoles) and I enjoy most genres but I’m mostly in to Shooters and will be looking forward to Halo Infinite. As I’ve got older and my reflexes have slowed I have enjoyed more single player games than I used to.
Mexican, 28 (this week is my birthday).
I’d been on the Xbox side of things for nearly 11 years.
Primarily it’s my main console but I also have a PS4 for those really interesting titles and the PC.
I’m more an Action RPG player, but since I’m a huge supporter of ID@XBOX (I own more than 1000 titles just there) i can end up playing pretty anything.
Ahh I also started streaming on FB not long ago (to my spanish community).
Hello everyone! I’m 40 in 3 weeks time! I’m from beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve owned multiple copies of each Xbox so far, but I also dabble on PlayStation from time to time. When I’m not gaming I’m teaching students about cyber security or taking day trips to the wine lands around our city. ( lockdown regulations have put an end to outdoor events for a while, so currently we make do from home!). Super excited for next gen!

Hello everyone! I’m a 23 year old person. I’ve been into Xbox since the 360 days, but I have played on the original. JSRF is my favorite game from there. Xbox is my main console, but I do play on all the current platforms from time to time. Outside of gaming I like to just learn about things in general or watch some anime or wrestling. Hope to meet some great people here!
Hey my name is Eric and I run the Game Positive YouTube channel / podcast. It’s a gaming centric show that focuses heavily on the positive things we all love about this incredible hobby as well as the incredibly talented people that make it all happen. It is in the very early stages but I cover Xbox, PC, PlayStation and a small amount of Nintendo but I have made it clear to my audience that my favorite platform is and will always be the Xbox which is why I’m so happy to be here!
A little about myself, I’m 30 years old, father of one, software developer by day.
I got my Xbox in 2002 and have been addicted to the ecosystem ever since. Although I have my favorites, just like everyone else, I’m a huge fan of all genres of games and have a ton of respect for the people who create them.
I read through a bunch of the rules and didn’t see anything regarding self promotion. If you would like to checkout any of my content the Game Positive Podcast is available on almost all major platforms and the YouTube channel is here:
Nothing is monitized yet but if I do end up with enough of viewership I plan on giving the proceeds to ExtraLife (children’s miracle Network) so I greatly appreciate any and all support or feedback!
If you made it this far thank you so much for reading and I look forward to having some awesome discussions with you all here
thank you so much for the kind words, really means a lot! I read through most of the new user guide and rules and I love what you guys are doing here. Very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the community !
Hello everyone davey here 40 …I’m from northeast England…been gaming on xbox for about 10 year now .and I don’t plan on slowing down …loving the new digs
I’m a 39 y/o gamer from London. First console was a NES. Mainly gamed on Nintendo systems right up until the N64 and PSX era.
I was originally VERY skeptical about Microsoft and Xbox when they first entered the industry but fell in love with Halo and PGR (and Odd World: Abe’s Odyssey) while playing on a kiosk in Electronics Boutique in 2001! Ironically I many were also skeptical about Sony when they first entered the industry too! WipeOut and Final Fantasy went a LONG way to putting minds at ease about venturing away from Nintendo/Sega… but that’s another story!
Forum-wise I quit most of them around 2011. Over 10+ years I frequented IGN (IGN Underground) Planet Nintendo, Opa-Age, Neo-Gaf (Gaf), ResetEra and various chatrooms. Did some minor bits with N-Sider.com Editorially back in the day, and Matt Casamassina (anyone remember him? Basically the original Ryan McCaffrey at IGN) linked me to GAF from there. I blame him anyway.
I have twins and we all game, mostly on Xbox One X.
Greetings all! I’m a 33 year-old computer engineer who works with scientists in the supercomputing space. Born and raised in CO but currently living in TN because of my career. I’ve been a gamer since the early 90s and have been an Xbox gamer since 2004, and have honestly loved being the latter ever since (even with some of the bad times).
Really great to have a place to discuss Xbox during one of the most exciting times in its history. Love Phil and Matt Booty, and can’t wait to see what this next generation ushers in; obviously not one of the oldest here by any means, but just seeing what this gen of consoles and PC has brought us has blown my mind.
Gamertag is Knottian, and I mainly play Sea of Thieves with my wife when I’m not playing single-player stuff. But I’m always open to play with new people
Edit: Meant to say that I’m “currently” playing those aforementioned, but my GT shows that I play… probably too many games and clearly have gaming ADD.
I’m 43 from Poland. I’ve been gaming since late 80’s starting with Atari 8bit then moved to Amiga and later to PC. In 2003 I bought OG Xbox and been fan ever since. Nice to meet you all.
