When I heard about this service and saw the slew of games available for me I knew I had to get into the Xbox Ecosystem. Being away from gaming for a long time, seeing the variety of games in GP would allow me to start crossing off the games on my list I wanted to play without dishing out an absurd amount of money ( I’ve played so many games on GP lol). Once I fell in love with my Xbox I started following different Xbox Content creators and these Xbox Era guys really do provide a service above an beyond, and I wasn’t even signed up for the Patereon and all the benefits that come with that. Hi all, I’m Wojtek from Poland, but for years now I have lived in London. I’m mostly nown as Joseph or Joe (my gamer tag is joseph1wh on xbox). I have started playing games about 30 years ago on pc but recently got an xbox and started playing there as well. I got myself all three consoles since then. Even though I am still a pc gamer at hart I really like that xbox is letting me play on both console and pc. I started watching XboxEra podcast a few years ago and got hooked. I then joined patron and finally this forum. Happy gaming everyone

Hi, I’m from the UK. I’ve been watching the YT channel for a while and decided to take a look at this community after dropping out of the other social media platforms. I’m sick to death of being bombarded with politics in every gaming space, and fed up of some twat lurking around every corner ready to start an argument with me because I like something they don’t. Hopefully this community is different.

I’m not exactly sure how this site operates. I have never used a website with discourse, so forgive me.

Anyway, I’m a gamer (obviously), I like Video Games, Computers, and of course, women.

I started as a Nintendo fan going from NES, to Genesis, to SNES, to Nintendo 64, then I switched to Sony; PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5. I realize this is a Xbox website, I realize this is a Xbox forum… I just love video games.

I am from California, but am currently in the south. I’m an old 43 year old male who loves almost all types of games. Even Ninja Gaiden.

Hi there! I have lurked video game forums for long than I would like to admit. But I really like the xboxera team and their content so decided to sign up for once. Love the podcasts here too. Like John, Nick, and Jesse, I’m an old timer. My gaming tastes are all over the place. My most played game this gen is prob vampire survivors. But the Forza Horizon series is my latest addiction. Really looking forward to following this xbox transformation we seem to be in the middle of and hearing the team’s coverage and the forum user’s opinions on it.

I’ve been posting for a while but never made an introduction.

I’m mostly fresh out of college undergrad (24 as of today) and have been surrounded by gaming since childhood. My siblings and cousins would lend me their old consoles. Hey you Pikachu on the N64 is the first game I vididly remember blowing my mind.

The gameboy was my first handheld and the Xbox 360 was my first personal home console (in my bedroom) and my family always had everything (just most would be in the “family” room to play together). Though I didn’t really start seriously gaming on my own until late high school.

2020 (being an adult) really geared me toward just focusing on my primary platform, Xbox. In joining the forum I was really just lurking and saw good vibes. Where I am in life, I really just want to celebrate gaming (for the most part) and I think there’s a lot to celebrate right now, but there’s a lot of toxicity that can go around. I tried reddit and discord and left both because I was doing more arguing that I wanted over what’s just a fun hobby for me. And like I said, saw good vibes here so I went from lurking to commenting.

Thanks and I believe it! When I said Discord, I meant discord on the whole. Plus I just found it a little too easy to use (right at my finger tips). I’d be on Discord at like work which I’m “trying” to cut back. It’s at least a little harder to go to a website forum
