…w power usage and with Game Pass it was and is the most attractive console to buy into next generation, at least for me. Yes, SSD size is limited but for many games I can move them to cold storage (I had spare USB disks lying around anyway) so this is not a huge problem for me. It feels good to be back and I hope Microsoft will be way more competitive than last gen. Enjoy next gen, guys! NOTE: This is not meant to be dismissive to PS4 at all: the console was and is still great and it had great games but the Sony first party titles are not enough for me to invest in their ecosystem further. I will keep the console, it is already more or less a Lego games machine for my son anyway and it deserved all the success it had, the console was basically without fault if you don’t care about fan noise.

I make a point of not talking about that website here, but that incident tells you all you need to know about its level of discussion nowadays. People getting banned for respectfully presenting opinions, for questioning moderation and for asking questions. I spent a lot of time there but I regret trying to make something better of it. Seems clear to me staff is only interested into feeding into one archetype’s tastes and opinions, and anyone else can fuck off. Too bad.

It’s our intention here to make sure nothing of the sort happens here. We did and will moderate bad faith discussions, insults and fanboyish jabs, but certainly not remove people from the forum for liking a product most of the forum does not care about.

I hope you remember this when I vote for Crackdown 3 among my games of the generation.

Okay, after I played Gears 4, Gears 5, FH3, FH4, Mass Effect Andromeda, Forza 7, Quantum Break and Halo 5. Perhaps I’ll do another run of Dark Souls again and I’m tempted to play Last Order again

I’m thinking about giving both Recore and Quantum Break another try after finishing Jedi Fallen Order, and Ori. I think most of my issues were ties to performance as opposed to the game

Recore is great but be ready for some serious 3D platforming and color coded ammo shooting. It’s not as hard as it sounds but just be ready for it.

It definitely could use a lot of more polish, but I had a much much better time playing it than HZD (which I couldn’t even bring myself to finish and end up dropping)
