I think it would be neat to incorporate giving out loading screens as loot. Apex does this and I enjoy seeing the random screens as I load into a game reminding me of past seasons/events/cool art. 343 have alot of material already with concept art and event promo images. I think anything would be better than the current one.

I’ve finally checked out this new event and I’m wondering how to do this weekly challenge

That could mean we get a tactical mangler game modelike how we got the Sidekick one in this event. Nice!

The event lasts 2 weeks. I havent tried it yet, but according to the above blog post, the first has Tactical Mangler and Tactical Sidekick, in additional to the traditional BR variant. Week 2 adds commando and stalker rifle variants.

I have played enough to get to level 4 in the pass yesterday, so far only Sidekick and BR.
Just got a game with the mauler, it’s definitely there.
Edit: yeah i’ve had 3 or 4 mauler games it seems to be pretty regular for me.

Just had my first Mangler game when I needed 10 Mangler kills, already completed the challenge, currently have 2 more for the event ready to be done. If I can knock out 3 more tomorrow, I should be done with the event.

Yeah I thought I’d enjoy it more too, sidekick tactical slayer is surprisingly fun though. Feels more close range and intense.
Going to head back to Zeta Halo and play some Halo Infinite campaign on Legendary

That subreddit takes basic concerns and blows them completely out of proportion. Some folks in the Halo community really need to find new hobbies or games to play. Because hate-playing Infinite ain’t the way to go.

Truly one of the most toxic threads I’ve ever gone through in my life. These people hate Halo, they hate game developers, they are fucking clueless and stuck in 2005.
Any issues Halo Infinite has does not warrant this level of tantrum. It’s absolutely humiliating. Genuinely pushes me away from the game in a way that other communities do not.
