Agreed on all of this, exactly what I’m after, right now the progression/xp is just soooo basic and barebones
They have gotten much better with their content output, especially with the maps so I just hope they realise how important solid progression is for appeal and retention and that it needs to be a priority
Obviously monetisation is a factor but if they want to bring more people in and keep them in, they will need content to do that and a MUCH better system will be needed
If they brought in something like what’s been said above they’d have more people coming into the game and more people coming into the game = more chance of battle passes being bought and skins from the store

I love the 8v8. While I like 12v12, there’s something completely different about 8 players. I’ve also tried doubles and it’s the same thing, it truly changes match dynamics. I realize that you don’t want too many playlists but I think Launch Site (one of my least favorite maps but I honestly haven’t been put into it in months) could benefit from being 5v5 or 6v6.
I’ll keep an eye out for it next time. I’m using the RT sunlight graphic setting on the Series X.
That rumor didn’t actually make sense, if they are releasing another Halo to gauge the franchise future why then make a prediction of that future before actually gauging it. The most I think is Microsoft might want 343 to become a studio that is free from just doing Halo allowing the studio to spread its wings with other IPs new or old.
Yeah, I don’t think this is doing them anny favors. 343 has recently been, denying things that later we discovered to be true. Jez at least is saying the rumor is false, so that should lend more credence, maybe.
One of the most toxic accounts iv ever seen and their obsession levels reached the point of needing help long ago and I’m not saying that in a derogatory way, I genuinely think they need help
I’ve never been big on the bigger maps/btb/vehicle maps in Halo, I prefer Arena but I do think from the little iv played 8v8 feels better
