Have they stopped giving gamepass perks for Halo Infinite? I don’t see anything in the perks right now. Seems like a missed synergy

I played a bit of BTB last night, and I have to say that if they launched with this version of BTB (that includes a lot more vehicles) I really think the first impression of Infinite MP could have been a lot better. It makes for good Twitch streaming with its over-the-top action.
BTB has been so good over the last few months and while playing last night it just felt like a shame that I’m seeing an Infinite game that most people haven’t seen. And this thought came to me while playing one of the game’s launch BTB maps (which I thought were good but not great; the new ones are great).

Anybody tried this out? How’s the performance?
I’ve not ‘tested’ it as such but I turned it on and have been playing fine - and I play Ranked a fair deal, so any frame issues would be bad news. Series X. I’m not super sensitive to such things however…
Tried it on the Series X and I haven’t noticed performance issues, although they could always be there. The shadows are culled quite close to the camera though.
Second 343i job opening. Glad to see that they’re starting to rebuild.

Watching HCS, nice to see Halo is in top 10 viewership on Twitch. ‘Dead game’ etc. Not that I give a fuck, I play the game, but - consistency, people…

True, but this was not their biggest event though.
I dont play much anymore. But still amazed it sits around 21-22 on most played (still)
I mean consistency in how games are viewed. How we talk about games is often absolute, reductive, and frankly not the same as what is actually happening. Infinite is ‘shit and dead’ according to hype merchants and lazy thinking, and yet it’s still drawing good amounts of attention on Twitch, a platform regularly appealed to by hype merchants for indications of success.
No, it’s not in the best place, either, in terms of views etc. But, again, irrespective, it has its merits, and I enjoy it. I’ll keep banging this drum, because I cannot stand how glib gaming is, how narrow, how hostage to hype it is.

I understand what you’re saying. I’m just saying an official event for a game on Twitch is not a consistent measurement.
The game averages less than 1K views on Twitch on any given day, that’s the consistency in this.
I’m with you, twitch views should never be the be all end all on what constitutes as a “dead game” or not.
