I really like how earnest and naive the young Cortana copy was

She does like a prussian/euro miltary heel click, before addressing Chief. And seemed really unsure and reluctant to do anything improvised. It was interesting to see a new construct, that has yet to be hardened, or jaded in any way. And she looked genuinely thrilled to be going in to Chiefs chip. Like she was realizing she was in a for an unexpected adventure

We could we see Jess’ theory of old Cortana coming back through young version of her, come true

Though if not, it could be cool to see this new version grow and change throughout the narrative

I think the story is going to be about John finally cracking and the new pilot guy will bring out his human side more, I just have a gut feeling they’re gonna go down the emotional route hard. The war is going to take the toll on him and I think maybe at the end he will break down, maybe the pilot and John create a bro bond and then they kill off the pilot (they better fucking not) at the end to make John crack.

I’m all for the theory that Cortana vs The Weapon is actually similar to Mendicant Bias vs offensive Bias. Mendicant got “corrupted” by the logic plague thanks to the Primordial. While Cortana was continually plagued by the Gravemind (which you might consider directly related to the Primordial and the Precursors).

The ragdolls in this game are one of those weird things that I was hoping would be amazing, but it’s really good to see ragdolls that at least look like they’ll be on par with Halo 3’s. The other games after have really wonky ragdolls imo, and each game for different reasons lol

Halo noob here. So I recently played through almost every halo game and I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but I still cant build up the energy to go any further into halo 5’s story; I am about 40% in and I just cant. For those who have finished the whole story and given the talks/reports in the community that Halo infinite’s story was rebooted because of the backlash they got from 5, how do you think infinite’s story will play out?

I think that’s cool that we don’t get to see more campaign gameplay. I don’t want any more minutes of it to be spoiled before I get the game in my hands, I think. I mean, if the campaign is bad (I doubt it…), that’s fine, but if it’s good, I just want to find it out by myself and get blown away. That’s why I probably won’t read any reviews before finishing the game. And there’s not many games I want to go in blind like that.
