shocking we don’t have a design lab for master chief sage green because I would like to design that
Unless they plan to do an official controller for the game. Which actually seems quite likely now that I think of it. And given that it’s Halo… Wonder if they’d do a Halo Infinite elite (not THAT kind of Elite! Or maybe) controller like the gears one they did.
Here’s a few things I noticed watching the trailers too many times and some stuff people may have missed :
- weapon racks have a small bar that fills up to indicate when it will be available again
- The needler now has an ammo counter on the back
- The razoback just looks so cool ! Just wanted to say.
- On the Bazaar map, the letters can fall off as seen on these two screens
- Sliding is in. I think that’s pretty cool.
- Doomstate mechanic : it tells you how much time you have before your vehicle explode with a red outline
I’m just in awe at everything 343i have done. They really captured what makes the Halo games great. ALL the Halo games. And I can’t wait to see more of the MP.
And they may have other stuff to show, some other modes apparently (different from Arena and BTB). If the rumors are true, that will be awesome !
And they haven’t showed off Forge mode yet.
There is one more major news drop coming sometime.
Did 343i say that ?
No - just guessing.
Forge has not been revealed, yet.
A really cool video breaking down the physics and particle details of the multiplayer trailer which will be translating into three main game also.
Does anybody know anything about FoV options in Halo Infinite? I cant stand low FoV in shooters and Halo 5 was a big offender. I know they added it in MCC which was great, but i really hope its in for H:I.
To make the game cross-platform we go through great pains to ensure you can have a competitive experience on any device, so things like your field of view (FOV) settings which are more standard on PC are also available on console.
The level of details 343i gave to the physics of each objects on screen is amazing !
If anyone can ever ask 343 or Phil a question or leave him a message, I need that person to request customized ‘‘voice AI’’ celebrities. I know we’re going to have custom AIs that’s personal to everyone, but I want mine to be David Scully aka Sergeant Major Avery Junior Johnson. They could add them each month or week into the store and I would gladly pay 50 bucks for it. They would make so much money with that. So many cool AI voices they can add. So many opportunities, they can even add a Mark Hamill Luke/Joker one, Jarvis etc. the sky is the limit.
Even better, imagine the crossover potential. Marcus Fenix, Kate, Captain Jack Sparrow, Battletoads, Killer instinct characters / announcer, Doomguy, Dovakin, Corvo / Emily.
I’m very ignorant of game development technology, but seeing that structure in the background of the new gameplay clip seemed ray traced with the depth of its shadows. It actually reminded me of how buildings looked in Gears 5 which we know utilized software based RT. We also know that The Coalition has been assisting on Infinite.
I don’t know. It looked really good regardless. Nice lighting in general.
Great vid from @AustinFordGames here!
Thanks, Sik! I hope everyone enjoys my first piece of XboxEra content <3
Infinite’s Battle Pass is kind of like traditional DLC in my opinion. You pay a modest fee for a lot of extra cosmetics and other personalized options—the only real difference from DLC is that you also have to unlock the content via progress. The ability to buy any Battle Pass at any time as well as confirmation of no loot boxes really solidifies it as a sort of DLC in my mind. It being like DLC is sort of a semantic thing and unimportant, but I like it and I hope more online games follow suit.
Fuck FOMO.
When will we get more campaign info???
I agree! It’s funny in that way, right? Time is a flat circle.
FOMO is lame as hell, that being said I may be the biggest Destiny fan in here
With the apex and destiny communities noticing what 343 is doing with battlepass they are showing how it’s done and hopefully it sets a trend like halo used to back in the day
