How great is it that it is now 2 days since the conference and there hasn’t been no ‘Craig’ memes or poking fun at Halo. Instead it has just been positivity and excitement building up for the title.
I’m sure 343 is really relieved
Halo 5 looks like jrpg graphics now whereas Halo Infinite looks like real life models.
i bet the atmosphere and morale at 343 (and playground) is higher. 343 because it looks like nearly everyone loves the multiplayer trailer and info, and playground becuase i imagine getting your game called, 9one of best looking games ever, has to be a good feeling
ALL Xbox Studios must be in high morale, they won E3. This is the first time in years that Xbox is considered on par with PS5 by some midia and people alike.
It can only get better from here, now starts a friendly competition between all Xbox studios to deliver quality.
Most definitely. I know they rolled with Craig but you still don’t want your work ridiculed by people.
Yep
They murdered the meme pretty quick by aknowleding it. But these two trailers silenced all the naysayers. They are hitting all the right notes, I can’t believe it myself.
I was saying “it’s going to be fine” the last few months, but I wasn’t expecting this to go so smoothly tbh.
Hmmm what if halo Is September I didn’t think about this before but @RandalThor19 brought up no game day 1 in gamepass for September and Microsoft said every month a new game will hit gamepass day 1
That would make sense if only they haven’t already committed to holiday 2021. I don’t know about you but I consider November /December to be counted as holiday.
Yea we’ll see I guess
Exactly. And with Forza in early November I fear Halo might be December.
Or maybe they hit the 20yo anniversary. I also wonder why Forza got the prominent November spot. Probably because Halo should be been out already
I personally think it is because they want to release the game on or very close to Halo’s anniversary but don’t want to commit to it as of yet because it could slip until December.
I have no reason to think they’re not still aiming for September, and this is them being willing to internally delay it if they have to. The game’s anniversary can be an in-game event. Zero reason to hold back the release until then if you don’t have to. BF is October, if CoD is November they’ll really push September. They did not list a Game Pass game for September btw
But don’t they want to start the technical reviews late Summer ?
Like I and rand noted
This could be true but I feel if this is their plan than they would have said Fall 2021 which to me is anywhere from October onwards although you could squeeze in September if you want. We shall see, the marketing should tell us a lot because September is not too far away.
if Battlefield is in Game Pass they will not release Halo anywhere near it.
Maybe they have some Xbox Series X Halo Infinite bundles in preparation, but they want to be sure they have the supply first ?
Or they just don’t want to commit to a date right now, especially since we don’t know how the end of the year will be. I mean, there is still no collector’s edition announced yet, so that’s really weird how cautious they are.
It’s the 20 years anniversary of Xbox and Halo, like come on, they’ll do something right ?
