Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

I really like the inclusion of an Academy and bots. This will be pretty useful for new players and to practice. Looks like so much fun to play. The customization options are also pretty insane.

Streamed it should of went live eariler

Man, I am so hyped to play Halo Infinite multiplayer for way too many hours  It is amazing that you can have your own personal AI, and the battle passes never expire so that you can buy old ones and still unlock the rewards by playing if you want.

Yep im so in the monetization does not seem very predatory at all

After over 250 hours in Halo: MCC and counting I cannot wait for Infinite to be my go to multiplayer this generation. I’m getting such great vibes from this year’s showing. It seems like it’s really striking a balance between having that nostalgic factor while moving the franchise forward.

A ton of appreciation for how they are handling the Battle Pass system and armor customization. It makes the economics of BF 2042 ($70 plus quarterly Battle Passes) looked terrible in my opinion.

The Halo Infinite trailer was really nice, and I think it was good that it contained a little campaign story (to theorize over), and a big intro into the multiplayer.

Campaign wise I would have liked more of the gameplay, but even those first few seconds showed the amount of progress they already made on just the world. I am curious what kind of other scenes will get (like deserts, or jungles). The story cut scene was really, really nice (like better than the 2019 trailer). Loved the animations, the darker color armor of Master Chief, which also seems much more battle damaged. I like the details to how Chief and the new/baby/clone Cortana (I’m sure we’ll get some general nickname) interact, the tone used by the VA is spot on. In summary, can’t wait to play it.

Multiplayer wise everything looked good too, especially the latest trailer released today (the day after the E3 stream). I think it can’t be understated what good things 343i is doing: free to play (on PC and Xbox) will give a big influx of new players, as well as prevent and split because someone didn’t buy a DLC or something. Also they’re adding bots, which together with a more guided start, will lower the threshold of joining the game, you can practice without the pressure. Customization looks great, the system behind Battle Pass, no F2P like practices, all sounds good. I can see them supporting this, and us playing it, for many years.

I want to say well done 343i! They have been getting so much negative feedback, I think it’s good we’re seeing a lot more positive reactions that also energize the teams working on it until the very last minute. Also was great to see Bonnie Ross and Joseph Staten together  Now I need new Halo books to fill in the gap before the game gets released.

My only question is, where is the Halo TV trailer? I hoped it to be some E3 show ending. I’ll stay patient

So far, they 100% nailed all the aspects of the multiplayer.

But all of those AI would choke that One X cpu.

lol. The Chief looks like he’s been through the ringer.

CPU has no bearing on the amount of pixels on screen, that is the job of the GPU, hence why if it is 30fps on the One X there will be a ton of processing power left to push for higher pixels.

That map reminds the Ark for Halo 3. Perfect art style.
