Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

I think that’s it. It’s the death that locks it out starting at that point where they’d spawn. I didn’t quite make it all the way through that room the first time when it stayed locked. When restarting from checkpoints I didn’t die anymore but it remained locked. The last time on full mission restart when it unlocked I had died a couple times in the rooms before, but made it through that room and later rooms without dieing.

No grapple hook could be savage now. XD

They could use another equipment equivalent, maybe a zipline.

Would fit into the tacticool and teamwork stuff.

hilarious as always. Agree with his gameplay review, that it’s amazing and the open world is a natural evolution of Halo’s combat and sandbox just allows for truly emergent fun, but the quest design was lacking in some ways.

Don’t particularly think the story is as bad as he thought but do agree that a lot of things happened off-screen. The mess left behind by Halo 5 was just so much baggage it was hard to reconcile it smoothly. Do think they ended the Cortana arc in the right place, ultimately.

On the other hand, there was more expo dumps in cutscenes and audiologs than I’d have liked, which might be indeed be explained by the game losing 2/3rds of its content.

Might be crazy to think about for most games but a year or two from now, Infinite shall have gotten campaign expansions that shall put it in a far far more improved state than the current base version which is already a solid foundation. An unfortunate reality, but understandable given the troubled development.

PS in other news, it’s time people fucking stopped giving any credence to the 500 million budget for the game rumor. It’s just annoying to see it pop up again and again with no proper evidence whatsoever.

Someone who knows what he’s speaking about.

Someone who doesn’t.

I think that summarizes everything. XD

Naah, Shyway’s video is about competitive multiplayer, Dunky’s is about campaign, neither of them are talking about the same thing lol.

I know, I was speaking about the overall attitude: one is excited for the coming back of something he loves, the other spurts condescension from all pores, it’s hard to take seriously what he says. But I’m speaking of his overall YT strategy, he is one of the many youtubers who make money on negativity, which is encouraged by Google.

nah I like most others treat his content as what it is - just elaborate shitposts, and he is more of a Nintendo guy than anything but halo is still one of his favorite franchises. He praised Infinite multiplayer, and praised the campaign for what it did good and what it didn’t in his opinion. I’m fine with it lol. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s talking about or whatever

I don’t like him, not for this video, but for his overall attitude, he often destroys games for the sake of it.

So you are indeed one of the people who don’t want Knack 3 baybeeee

I understand the animosity now.

No, lol.

Speaking of more interesting things than Dunkey, I’d advise people to listen to Memory Agent audio logs on Spotify or to Halo Canon summary, they are very interesting and a prequel of Halo Infinite like Shadows of Reach:

already did day 1, pal. I want more of these ASAP

I don’t think Dunky knows the first thing about Halo lore, judging by his video. I’ve seen plenty of people complain about not understanding Infinite’s plot being new players, but I just don’t understand this entitlement. It’s the 7th mainline game. I don’t start playing Yakuza 6 without playing the others to complain about not understanding what’s going on.

This is such a joke. I have Btb challenges so I tried joining Btb multiple times which always just gets me in an infinite loop of “unable to join the Fireteam” so I have to completley close the game after I tried for a few minutes and now I’m banned.

the game was communicated to be a soft reboot and a starting point for new players to the franchise and I do agree with most people saying the story isn’t really as friendly to new players at all, but that isn’t a bad thing. I watched an Apex legends streamer play Infinite (his first Halo game) and say “I loved it, but some of the emotional moments didn’t hit as hard for me but to those that are already familiar with the past story it probably is” which is completely fair and not entitlement in any way.
