Halo |OT| Master Chief's Breath of the Wild Moment (Part 1)

Play some sweaty ranked matches, you will begin to notice.

I respect your feedback 100% but I haven’t myself had any of these issues and it’s just not a big deal for me, it has me feeling like this is the whole sprint thing.

I’m a bit confused on the whole thing, you can walk through players but your grenades and rockets stick and hit your teammates? and before it was you can’t walk through players and you will stick and hit them.

Why not have it you can walk through teammates, rockets and grenades go through them too. Anyway this really wasn’t a issue for me at all.

One thing I’m hoping for from variants in a Infinite is that we can get all the Halo 5 weapons Pre nerf. Specially the Hydra because the HI hydra is just bad, and has no place on the sand box when every weapon is so much better than it.

it is an issue many have brought up in the community. There are also several clips you can find where that exact thing of a teammate passing through them and a grenade or a rocket launcher hitting them and killing both.

yeah that’s a half solution but then you don’t have cool sandbox plays that are characteristic of Halo like sticking a spike to a teammate and have him go, or sticking a threat sensor and they grapple to the other side of the map and you get enemy locations, etc

Just turn on player collision for ranked and it’d be good, no idea why that’s being opposed. I 100% agree with @Mostlyharmless

Also, all of us have faced this issue as well, some of us just aren’t aware. All the bots bunching up in one place near weapon spawns on Behemoth, or getting stuck by the door at Recharge, that’s all a result of no friendly collision.

Also, no friendly collision means in modes like Infection, a whole team can just bunch up in one spot in a corner of a room and basically win every single match.

No collision is dumb and I dont see any defense for it. Its a design choice that affects the game in a negative way imo.

I mean I’m happy that it’s not in. It creates more annoyances than opportunities imo and that’s what 343 have found with testing as well.

I’m in favour of their being a player collision toggle for custom games as I understand that it can bring about some creativity there, but I don’t feel that being blocked or rando’s getting in the way is worth the 1 in 1000 opportunity to jump on someone’s noggin in a meaningful way.

lmao

Players already do that with collision on though, is tougher to do sure but they pull it off. But anyways yes, bringing collision back for all game modes not just ranked is the right move to make, although I have been lucky enough never to be in any situations like the ones described.

Even something as simple as a teammate walking through me as I’m BR’ing someone happens nearly every match. It’s stupid and shouldn’t be an issue in halo. The problem will be even worse in ranked with friendly fire on.

Dying to hear the lore reason that there’s an arcade version of Halo Infinite inside Halo Infinite.

Should give a hint if the campaign is good hopefully.

I have to say that an almost 12 minute video preview and 3000 word write-up should hopefully mean that IGN has a lot to say about it.

I am sure the YHMAH podcast will be salivating over it and dissecting it during the podcast .

No new footage here if I remember right?

A ā€œhands-onā€ video preview with no footage of the time hands-on is almost useless. It has to at least have some ok’ed by 343 clips.

Yeah. I can’t imagine it will be 12 minutes of them just talking, there will be new footage of what was on offer, but not necessarily what they had played.

IGN better have someone that has actually play Halo before we don’t want another Noob trying to show it off.
