when I replay the series I enjoy playing, reach, 4, and 5. I tend to want to skip through 1,2,3,odst as quickly as possible if I"m not in co-op. For actual fun/dynamic gameplay the series got better as it went along no matter what people say.

We will probably never know but Iā€™m curious to know what happened with Chris Lee and how the game was when he was still the Director.

I havenā€™t played it yet but reading all of the reviews I am a bit upset. Iā€™m reading a lot of negative MP reviews that have taken the SP score to 86 because most of the SP reviews Iā€™ve read tell me this is a 90+ game. And tbh the MP, content drought aside, is a 9-10 as well. Perfect gameplay. Itā€™s the whole BP,progression, lack of content in MP that kinda negatively affected its MC score. 86 is great but all of the SP reviews Iā€™ve read make it sound like a 90ish game.

I feel like if both were reviewed separately and content complete, both would have reviewed in the 90s. Probably one of the best 86 ratings youā€™ll ever see.

I fckn hope we arenā€™t gonna be waiting 10 years for another Halo game. Especially when 343 has nailed both the MP & SP.

Reviews, in the end, donā€™t really matter that much. SoTā€™s is a massive success and it reviewed horribly. Theyā€™ll support this game for a long time, and itā€™s an incredible starting point.

I read people on the subreddit believing MS paid the reviewers so thatā€™s why Halo Infinite has good reviews. Complete lol. Some ā€œfansā€ just want to see Halo to fail and die.

I think the Nostalgia in CE and 2 particularly for campaign is extreme lol. Probably good campaigns for the time they came out around the xbox live hype but nowadays eh.

No way Halo 4ā€™s story is that in the bottom either.
