Rockstar aren’t on trial either. No one is entitled to a game in the way you are describing - especially when Rockstar has never promised anything more than what they have delivered here. Developers can take the time they need or work on other things.

Hes definitely tried. I mean they gta online free on ps plus right? Hes not stupid enough to ask for thr entire game but no doubt theyll pay fortune for exclusive mission or some shit like Hogwarts.
Rockstar shoulnt accept deals from anyone
Most likely that game will come to pc later due their stance of piracy so they need to be partial to both sony/microsoft just like From were for Elden ring.

I have no issue with the leaks at all. Take2 has been entirely too quiet about the game. Thats on them. They had every opportunity to communicate with fans and set expectations and control narrative.
I believe that EVERY dev/pub should be talking to their fans regularly about their upcoming games. Talk to them throughout the entire dev cycle process.

Isn’t Rockstar one of those developers that is technically owned by a publisher but is essentially “independent” when it comes to having full control of its own operations?
I think the blame should be on Rockstar only starting development very recently. It’s a mindfuck that during all this silence and waiting for GTA6 they weren’t even working on it.
I forgot about the GTA online being free on PS Plus but overall I really could care less if Sony did happen to make some sort of deal with GTA 6. Since this leak and what the hacker did with stealing the source code could potentially cancel GTA 6 so I really want what is best for all the developers working on the game.
And even if it means Sony gets the marketing rights or a one year exclusive mission I would rather that be the case than the game getting cancelled and the developers getting blamed or harassed for something that was out of their control. Since it would be chaotic if GTA 6 were to get cancelled.

That pretty much explains why it looks like GTA 5 with better animations.
Imagine doubting Rockstar will make anything other than a technically marvelous, boundary pushing, generational leap defining piece of software like they have always done. These leaks don’t represent much of what a final product would look like.

Yes they didn’t make a GTA last gen but they made RDR2 and that game technically is still unparalleled and ahead of any game out today. Hell, many aspects of GTA 5 are still unparalleled lol
