Visually amazing, wow.
I hope they work on the gameplay and mission structure. I’ve never actually beaten a GTA game because despite the amazing and lively worlds, the games themselves just aren’t very fun.

You don’t like driving halfway across the map to do very similar missions over and over that force you to play exactly how they want you to or it’s mission failed?
In all seriousness, V was a huge step up from 4 in terms of mission variety but they are still very shallow in terms of player expression

Exactly. I’m not even a huge “player freedom” person, like I’m fine with super linear games. But when I’ve tried to play GTA or RDR and it’s like “Stand in this exact spot OR YOU FAIL. Take cover behind this wall, no not that other wall 6 feet to the left, YOU FAIL.” That’s not for me.

It’s not about a lack of resources, it’s about getting two huge launches and people who double dip. They’ve always focused on console launch and then shifted resources to PC. Wasn’t going to change now.

My response was to @Searsy82 who, to me, made it sound like a resource issue. I know it’s about double dip, though about “two huge launches” I’m not sure, I think three huge launches is more significant. They’ve always focused on console launch, I agree, but so did a lot of the industry before, now PC launches are the expectation and the norm and the better disposition for games, I know GTA is an exception but still, I don’t see how it wouldn’t be even bigger with simultaneous PC launch.
R* obviously know a lot more than us, whether it’s to get people to double dip or because they want to focus on the console versions first, they clearly have their reasons that are of benefit to them
and as big as R* is and the almost unlimited budget they have for these games, they might still have to pace themselves, these are absurdly huge games getting bigger with insane ambition for both single player and multiplayer
CoD has 1000’s upon 1000s of devs and yet in ways still doesn’t seem enough, obviously GTA isn’t releasing every year but it doesn’t change the point that just because a dev is huge doesn’t mean they can do absolutely everything
Although many games previous did well, this would be a great game to flex on for Series S.

The big new thing GTA V had was that we got to play as three different characters, switch whenever we wanted. What could it be for this one?

That is so close its nuts. Rockstar are the best around not a single developer can touch them. Just a shame their big games take like 10 years to make LOL

The 2nd and 3rd shots look like they’re taken from the game LOL. Its nuts how good the staff are Rockstar are . They put to shame everyone else
Yeah, if you didn’t know any better and watched this on a smaller screen you’d think they are all real. But it’s just two real, two game.
I am gonna have so much fun just walking around in this world, checking out the behavior by NPCs, it’s fantastic.
Also, it seems we will be (having) to fill up our cars. During the bit with the croc entering the store you can see people filling their cars up. Later when the chubby guy runs away we see more people doing that.
The third is from the game. 
It is just crazy how close to real life this is. The wait will be so hard for this game. If the game looks and runs like that now on a Series X or PS5 with 2 years left of polish to be levered on it.
Can you imagine how good a PS5 or Series Pro version would look?

I knowwwwww, that’s why I am so frustrated that Xbox isn’t doing one. Gonna have to buy that oversized damn router to play GTA 6, and likely any other multiplats from there on out until next gen.
Very understandable, I do all my online browsing on my phone too and had I not known any better I’d believe it too.
By the way, in my opinion this is the best analysis so far. He covers a lot, including NPCs refueling their car. I hope this is a feature.
