Thanks, I left a comment, if they decide to test that should at least give them more data.

That’s all that countsmate :). I was happy with my Xbox one and could see the jump with Forza 7 over 6. That’s the trouble I have at the mo, none of my friends or the kids have a Switch 2 yet, so haven’t been able to play one for myself

Like my only experience so far is playing around with the OS and maybe 20 hours or so of Mario Kart World. OS is super snappy now as Switch 1 was a drag. And with Mario Kart you can tell it looks sharper than MK8 due to the higher resolution and overall the game has more pop, more stuff going on, more enemies on the track; you can tell it’s kind of having brought up the graphics slider from low/medium to high on your PC.

So it’s not huge but it makes everything more enjoyable, just like it did when trying out Gears 5 on Series X for the first time compared to One X.

So it’s not

I know where you’re coming from, I could see the difference with just the UI of the Xbox One against the Xbox 360

No one I know got a Switch 2 unit at the moment not because they don’t want one, but because it’s summer hoilday season and thats why money is going

I know this is more physical gaming tech than digital but I thought it should be here? Just let me know if not.

I wonder if this would be applicable to the Xbox version too.

I really want to get this game, but I already have so much on my hands lol! I was keeping my MS rewards and honey rewards for Final Fantasy Tactics but I feel like using them right now on this game, especially since it’s 100$ over here!

Overall I think it looks great graphically, and this being for the Super Mario Odyssey team means it’ll be a banger!

Looking at the video they seem disappointed in the fact it’s not using DLSS and still running FSR1.0.

Yeah, I wonder why their devs so far aren’t using it.

This is a bloodbath, and not in a good way for the Switch 2

I mean, its only a bloodbath if you ever thought the Switch 2 was as powerful as a Series S. Which you would have to be dumb as a sack of hammers to believe.

I knew brain rot had set in amongst even the “tech analysis” crowd when I saw SF6 used as an example of Switch 2 being more powerful than Series S… because of a memory bug, which everyone without said brain rot would understand (there were even workarounds to fix the issue at will, while players were waiting on Capcom to fix). It’s why I wish people who actually worked in software engineering/dev and/or architecture/hardware engineers were allowed to talk about this kind of stuff… YouTube and podcasts have just sped up the dumbing down of humanity

The tech analysis crowd never was really about educating their viewers. The viewers dont want to be educated or they would use the the numerous free resources available on the internet for that stuff.

The viewers want drama so they get drama. The Switch 2 ‘discussions’ prove that time and time again.

What was the memory bug and what was the drama about? I know I’ve read somewhere some were saying Switch 2 version looked better than Series S version but is that due to a bug om Series S that needs to be fixed?

No matter how many times I see it, the PS5 using more energy than Xbox Series X to run a game is always something.
