Glad they highlighted the excellent material and model quality of the game as they are top notch.
Iāll be really salty if they donāt. Iāll avoid using the weapons whose animations are like that, the rocket launcher and skewer especially really ruin any fluidity on the screen.
For me, when I was working on the ācomplete the movement tutorial in less than 25 seconds achievementā the clamber animation was pretty jarring.
I donāt even notice. Used the rocket launcher loads recently. No issue at all for me.
Idk how people be noticing this stuff unless they are deliberately looking for it. Like the pop in at 60fps in Forza, unless you are actively looking for it I never noticed it.
Yāall are blessed. I noticed that stuff right away, especially the reload animations in the rocket launcher and skewer, and also the clambering animations, they make the motion on screen choppy.
For me, itās the clambering animation that is noticeably choppy. The other stuff, not so much.
For me the pop in FH5 is pretty noticeable but it doesnāt make a difference to my enjoyment, but the animation in HI hasnāt been a problem, as it looks good to me. If they update it great, which in my opinion is only going to just happen once they leave Xbox One behind as they will no longer have to keep it in mind through development, (so maybe next campaign?) but if they donāt it doesnāt bother me, as a person who spent 77d 8h 57m playing Halo 5 and had similar issues pointed and shrug and kept on playing.
I notice the pop in in games. But honestly the framerate thing in Halo I never noticed. I canāt even see it now that they showed it. Maybe because these animations are all so brief?
Probably because we arent looking at the reload animation and are more worried about who is gonna shoot at us and from where lol.
Shit looks like anime framerate fr
Tldw?
The review is mostly focused on how Xbox SX performs very poorly (10fps difference at times) compared to PS5 inspite of running at reduced visual settings. Although neither ports have a stable fps.
Yeah.
Itās clearly a beta with neither of the consoles optimised to there potential
So XSX currently has reduced visual settings compared to PS5? Yeah, at launch that should be all gone, no excuse really.
Usual Xbox botched port, lol, itās almost a joke now.
Yes, however I donāt expect them to have spent much time optimizing their engine properly for the Xbox Series consoles. So at launch Iām still expecting PS5 to have the better performance because of being the lead platform.
But on top of worse framerate should not also be reduced visuals, that would be ridiculous. I mean Sekiro had slightly worse framerate on One X because it pushed a higher resolution if Iām not mistaken.
And Sekiro also had far better graphics.
