Back 4 Blood | PS5 - Xbox Series S|X - PC | Beta Graphics Comparison & FPS

Looks to be good on all consoles, specially SS holding off pretty well. Though some weird gamma/tone on xbox consoles

Really glad to see this kind of result. I was afraid that the Series consoles would feel agonizingly slow compared to the PS5, but it seems like they’re performing well overall. Maybe the gap will increase as the generation goes on?

Seems there is still nothing on that actual XS and PS5 patches.

Or maybe not if developers start using more and more the velocity architecture.

If anything they will get lower or reverse once SX features are more used like SFS.

Yikes, if this turns out to be true, it’ll be a great case study in not falling for marketing.

It’s really wild how much of a ghost town the PS4 version is.

This is still just a PS4 Pro version running with unlocked framerate through raw power. Same for Xbox Series X.

Only Xbox Series S is more customised, because it’s not on Xbox One S profile. It’s scaled-down Series X version to run in lower resolution in locked 30 fps.

Either way, the PS versions (PS4 & PS5) are a ghost town. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I see what you mean. In some scenes it’s a little too dark on XSX where even detail gets lost a little. To be honest though, i rather have it slightly too dark than too bright, like some games with bad HDR implementation.

What is that weird dark filter in the Xbox captures?

CDPR doesn’t seem like they have bothered updating the Xbox code much at all since February. They likely realize they have tapped X1 console sales already and were focused on getting back onto PSN marketplace. Hope the next gen patch for Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk still lands this year.

Witcher 3 was recently said to get the patch this year, seems like that has a bigger chance of actually dropping than Cyberpunk patch. It’s ok though. I’m holding off on playing Blood and Wine until then.

I think I read somewhere that the Witcher 3 update wasn’t being done by CDPR. Could be conflating though.

I’ve been holding off on the Witcher LC since it came out, lol. First waited on X1X then waited til XSX then heard it was getting a legit next gen patch so here I am…still waiting.
