You don’t remeber that Returnal dev told on there twitter that game crashing issue on PS5 is actually a PS5 issue not there’s.

Thanks for the link. That is interesting. We do see notes on insider builds of certain games or even movies not working right on Xbox, so we could potentially be seeing something similar here. Hopefully they are able to get it sorted out soon. Sony has beta tested OS versions in the past, they should probably look into doing that sooner than later on the PS5.
Remember all those fake news about XSX overheating before the launch? Maybe the PS5 is overheating?
I mean in terms of BC, this is the best it has ever been since the original PS3 model, so really no one should have too many complaints about BC.
Take what I say with a pinch of salt because this is mostly conjecture but from what I can deduce based on the Pro and the fact the PS5 still has ‘only’ 36 CU is that the BC on the PlayStation side is slightly more ‘sensitive’ compared to the Xbox when it comes to the game thinking it is running on a PS4, so fundamentally I don’t think this is something Sony can necessarily improve and as time passes will have less incentive to do so.
I appreciate the qualifier! If you’re right then that’s a shame. It’s true that if the XSX is the best BC ever then PS5 is second-best. It’s just a bummer that it doesn’t perform as well as it could. The world keeps on turning of course, and being able to play a PS4 game at even equivalent level is good. The MS BC team is just that kid in class who makes everyone else look bad by being so good!
Yeah the MS BC team is best-in-class and a testiment to the investment Xbox has put into BC.
Good on them for being transparent with that info. In their video they noted stability was an issue on PS5 at 4k, so wonder wtf is happening on that front. Do they mean game crashes because that would start to look like a trend on the platform (Spiderman, Returnal, Cyberpunk).
More transparent than I’m used to

Good on them for dealing with them trolls and losers in this matter. I am having a laugh with it.
Genuinely that is real well handled on their end. Major props to their social peeps.
Actual native 4K on XSX is really nice, should look very good. But even 1080p/60fps I find incredibly impressive for Xbox One X, such a big open world game.
I think it’s dynamic on XSX.
I’m old so I don’t have twitter. Is this a normal day on twitter? I can’t believe there is so many manbabies in this world.
I find that some of these games being BC and used as an excuse for the PS5 is pretty lame. Regardless of the reason the PS5 is lagging behind on various titles, mostly due to Sonys lax attitude towards giving their customers a better experience. BC decisions Sony made now and in the past are causing these issues.
People need to hold Sony accountable instead of making excuses for their bad decisions.
Oh that’s odd. Conflicting info, Hmmm. Then One X is dynamic as well?
I think it’s more explanations than excuses in this case. The idea being that the difference between versions can’t be attributed solely to the hardware difference.
Developer said its Native on Xbox Series X.
Who cares though? The end result to the gamer is the issue, the PS5 gives a worse experience in alot of games now. Doesnt really matter the exact reason why.
Their are hardware differences AND software differences that are contributing to these problems.
Again people are making excuses for the PS5 instead of calling out Sony on a series of stupid decisions over the years that has caused this.
