Still early days, but I think this is my favourite in the series so far, Mexico is such a great location. Music-wise, Some good tracks from Hospital Records again, though I hope they go with V Recordings next time around.
Only minor disappointments for me, is still way too many cars thrown at you for doing nowt, plus I really don’t know why PG allow you to filter cars by ones you haven’t photographed yet, but don’t allow you to get in the car from the same screen.

Steering still is not as comfortable as in Dirt Rally.

Best starting experience in a Forza Horizon game ever. They really took the critiques of FH4 to heart and delivered a more directed focus.
Now I need to find all fast travel and experience boards before I get distracted by actual game activities.

Wait there is no premium edition upgrade for games pass members? They had that with 4. I was hoping I could get that and play right now. Fucking lame. This is where MS is dropping the ball. This a should have unlocked early for GPU members. Make them feel they are part of the VIP club.
You can pay to upgrade right now for $45 I believe it was. You just have to search for it in the store.

Anyone one else getting “disconnected” warnings in Freeroam or just me?
I got it a couple times earlier today, but then I switched to Solo Mode and only played for a bit before taking a break for dinner.
It’s kind of weird cause despite the disconnect message I was still seeing Forza Arcade events (before I switched to Solo mode).

Im getting almost all the time and 20min ago my series X said my local cache is almost full.
Did a hard reset and now its updating, alpha skip-ahead firmware update, hope the hard reset fixed it.
EDIT: hard resetting the xbox didnt work, everytime i get into the menu it say im not connected or randomly while free roaming

Bought the premium add on bundle to play this weekend and the game keeps crashing on the choose your nickname screen. Off to a great start

Luckily I’ve had no crashes on PC or Series X so far after 15hr of game time.
Something I noticed, theres no traffic in free roam… Sometimes i see a car but when i get close they vanish.
