I mean, Xbox has unironically been the best place to play fighting games because of how fast their input response time is - been that way since the 360. Which was why Sony cut them out of the market for an entire gen :man_shrugging:

I am sure most of the comments under that Tweet go on about how the Xbox is not the place for fighting games rather than how it was the place until Sony blocked them out of it.

Started play Darkstalkers in the fighting collection and as always I’m reminded on how much I suck at at fighting games. As I don’t really have the patience to practice enough to get good at them.

But I will admit the quick save system is helping take off some of the pressure, making a quick save at the beginning of the match and if I win the actual round regardless if it’s 1 to 1.

Now I just actually have to defeat this Pyron guy in one match before making another quick save. But man he sometimes goes wild launching fire balls, ah well just got to keep trying and hoping I don’t forget the little I know how to play before next try.

Pretty crazy to remember that the game won FOTY in a beta state. Now it is vanishing. Bit more than it can chew.

Shoot me, but gameplay and mechanics wise City of the Wolves is way, way better than SF6 after having played the beta.

I unfortunately have yet to play it but its not exactly a controversial take. Even back when Third Strike and Garou Mark of The Wolves came out there were those who felt that it was the better game.( I still swear by Third Strike but both games were the pinnacle of 2D fighters at the time.) I had over 200 hrs in SF 6 so one can guess how I feel about that game looking forward to game. City of The Wolves looks like it will get just as much of my time when ai finally get to play it.

Capcom Cup spoilers:

It’s the time of the year when a new Capcom Cup champ is crowned! Congrats to Kakeru for taking it all! :tada::tada:

He has certainly cemented himself as one of the faces of Japan’s FGC.

Also, big thumbs up to Blaz for being a 15 year old that made it to the grand finals. Hopefully he makes it again next year.
