Still has the most hyped OST currently.
It feels like this game only looks better with every new trailer they release. The art style is seriously popping in this trailer.
Im salty, but Im still gonna buy it.
Oh, of course. my Switch is shivering with anticipation.
If you’re looking at doing the same and buying a lot of the classic fighters on the 360 now is the time to do it! There is a massive sale on titles.
I actually held off on buying Dark Stalkers Resurrection and it’s on sale for 90% off right now. So I’ve got to pick it up tonight.
A ton of fighters are also on sale as well. I don’t remember if I have Street Fighter X Tekken and that’s on sale as well so if I don’t I’ll grab that.
It’s all good, buy for the platform you own and enjoy. I’m probably going to end up finally trying out the emulation feature on my Series X in dev mode. Capcom sent a message that my money ain’t good enough as an xbox owner, So it is what it is.
Holy crap I just found out about this. This is garbage!
Now, according to Jez, it’s because Capcom’s MT Framework team is pretty non-existant now, and they have a lack of Xbox tools. So, it sounds like it’s less, “Capcom don’t care”, and more “We don’t have that team anymore”. Which is only slightly better .
But MVC2 was made for the Naomi arcade board though if I’m not mistaken Either way people need to stop making excuses for Capcom. Their past collections had no trouble on Xbox One. Even if that were the case, maybe through Xbox owners a bone by allowing the 360 Marvel vs Capcom to be Backwards Compatible maybe. I dunno
I had that same thought too. MvC was already on the 360. If this new collection is not a problem, licensing wise, then maybe they can just make that available. As for excuses, something is obviously going on beyond Capcom not wanting to do it. In the same Direct an even more niche Capcom collection was announced as coming to Xbox. Whatever the reason is, it ain’t playerbase related.
Only reason the “MT Framework” thing confuses me is Capcom released two arcade collections on Xbox One if this collection uses it did those two not?
A little while ago, I saw someone on Resetera point out that the last collection released in 2022 and that was also the year they officially stopped supporting MT Framework.
Huge fuck up on Capcom’s part not to support whatever final version of Framework on the Xbox One if they were going to keep making these collections.
Maxilmillian apparently spoke up about it so that’s cool.
I mean the posts over official account is bombarded with no Xbox with the most likes over glee and cheers. Hard to ignore. I know this is from port team and I don’t know the true circumstance on why, but we’re not Ouya or Stadia. We’re Xbox. It doesn’t help Ace is coming to Xbox yet not that one, so it’s like people here wants justice.
I hope he keeps talking about it. This whole “Free MvC2” campaign isn’t truly over until it hits the Xbox.
Once you develop for the GDK, your game is going to be forward compatible in perpetuity.
So if they make an Xbox One version it’s going to be available on every single Xbox machine going forward. We’re not talking about just the Xbox One and Xbox Series user base right now. We’re also talking about millions of PCs running Windows and purchased through the Xbox app.
Will the PS6 be backwards compatible with the PS4? Because if it isn’t, we’re going to be wanting a PS6 port. This is why everyone should be demanding an Xbox and PS5 port.
I hope someone can relay this to Maximilian.
Not having x men vs street Fighter as well is a bummer IMO.
If I were a publisher that saw that the last collection I put on this platform barely sold 5k copies, I would not put my stuff on that platform anymore.
Money talks, and despite like every other Capcom title hitting the platform, investing into these smaller things prolly isn’t worth it. That’s just the game.
