I mean, its probably easier to focus on animation when the base roster is as small as it is. MK 11 launched with a base roster about twice as big as SF6, and SF5 launched with almost no roster.
MK characters also had three different move sets, so I can cut them some slack.
I mean, Im not disagreeing per se, its just that the two up to this point have been entirely different beasts.
I am really hoping MK1 moves away from tower grinding and gear. Just focus on the fighting and other game modes and give the characters real skins.
If MK1 is new gen only, I’m sure the animation quality will be pretty stellar. There’s the capture quality and then there is the quality that they can have in the game due to memory constraints.
Played some great matches in SF6 last night. Got my ass kicked more than I won but it was still fun as hell. Game plays amazingly and Kimberly is fun as hell to use so far. I will need a decent fight stick sooner than later though, playing thins kind of game on a regular controller cramps my hands after a while .
First, it feels great to play a Street Fighter where I can find matches in the morning, consistently, again. I haven’t seen that since 4 .
Second, I did a lot better than I thought I was going to. I made it to Diamond with Ryu after finishing my placement matches. I was caught off guard because I chose intermediate as my skill level (I never got out of Golf in V). But, I guess that didn’t matter? I got Guile to 4-Star Platinumbut it was much more of a struggle.
So, what are XboxEra’s WT avatars looking like? Did you base 'em off of yourself? Or did you try to make a specific character? Here’s my guy. I’ll let you guess who he’s supposed to be
