) but Ed wants to make a ‘directors cut’ of the OG3 that isn’t just a remaster.
That last part is interesting. How would that work? Rebalancing? Additional characters?

I feel like MK1 could have a few more characters. Maybe make Reptile an unlockable and they could also add in the original concept for Jax.
There was someone that asked about possible rereleases for the 3D games and Ed said if he were to rerelease them, he would want to do something different like remaster them into 2D fighters instead.
Another person asked if they would be able to add MK 2011 to Xbox BC and he said they would instead have to remaster it and add GGPO to the online, and said that both of those aren’t easy things to do.

Good call on the original Jax concept, I actually forgot about him.
I actually saw the 3d to 2d comment and it actually made me upset . All that means is that we are never getting the 3d games on modern hardware.
And finally, that explains why you have to use a disc to play MK '11 on Xbox. If they wanted to make the game easily accessible, they would release a remaster.

If you used a stick before - get a stick.
If you haven’t - get a pad.
Sticks are not really mandatory for modern fighters due to stuff like input leniency. And they have a somewhat steep learning curve if you haven’t used one before.
