I agree completely, Fallout 4 is a huge step backwards compared to Fallout 3 & New Vegas. Technologically it is a step forward and looks better, but as a game it traded the RPG elements for a more simplified game.

Huh? Thereās only one fallout 4. The DLC is part of the game, and the GOTY store listing is just the game plus the DLC.
Wanted to make sure that the upgrade is for everything including the expansions and not just the base game. Thatās all. Thanks.

76 is the best fallout game in the series. The rest pale in comparison to what 76 has become over the years.

76 lacks one thing though and thatās VATS. I absolutely love that mechanic to death in these games, but the one in 76 isnāt proper VATS.

Itās there, but in real time. Also itās definitely proper because we donāt really have to aim at anything(which is why I hate vats to be honest).
How do you think they should have done VATS in an online game ? Pause for everyone in the server whenever itās used ?

Thatās the thing, I love aiming at the body parts and then let it go! 
No, I realize with an online game you canāt do a thing like that like in the SP games but i just really miss it. Besides I never found the real time shooting to be super great. It works, but itās not exactly satisfying. But I have a very hard time believing this is better than my favorite which is Fallout 3.
I assume you have GamePass, or Amazon prime (where the game is currently free right now)ā¦

Itās also on sale at the moment, no better time to finally play the best fallout game in the series than now
Sounds more like an excuse because of issues that are stalling the mods development(Iām pretty sure several of their devs have gotten work in Bethesda). I understand that updates can break mods, but Bethesda doesnāt do an update that would make it impossible to get a mod working afterwards.

Mods do get broken often when these updates happen
They arenāt blaming Bethesda or that the mod isnāt coming, just that thereās no point releasing it and have it break shortly after because of the update so they are going to wait and see how/if it will affect the mod

Yeah, seems perfectly reasonable to hold it knowing there is a big update to the game coming so they can address any issues that crop up. Not a big deal.

I didnāt forget I had to wait more than half a year for them to fix Skyrim two years ago or so. It took them very very long. Basically the main menu became like a slide show and it would just freeze after a few seconds. The only way to play it was by going offline. Apparently only the SE was affected, not the LE.
